Stayed on and all inclusive basis with my 7 year old daughter from 6th to 16th August, it was our second year of visiting and once again everything was great. Beach is a couple of minutes stroll away, food was varied and plentiful. This year we were in room 401 which had been refurbished so had a more modern feel about it. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

on arrival the girl on reception was so friendly. we had a issue with our room it smelt of smoke. no problem ,we were given another room straight away.Food was excellent great choice .good entertainment 5 mins walk to beach plenty of bars and restaurants near by .

A classic well established hotel near beach and transport, supported by friendly supportive staff in all departments The lounge and bar areas appear to have been renovated and equipped with an abundance of nicely designed chairs and sofas. Food was very good with a large selection and nicely displayed. Gardens around pool area well kept. Best sun loungers go early and it may be difficult to obtain one in high season. Room and bathroom spacious and even on the 6th floor WiFi was good.My room had a shower above a large deep bath so if this causes you mobility problems check for shower only bathrooms before booking. Reception staff particularly helpful in accommodating my room request. Thursday Gala dinner and pre appetizer drinks hosted by management was a nice gesture. If I had one suggestion it would be the outside terrace area next to the bar had a small designated no smoking area for those of us who do not smoke.I have come across this in other Spanish hotels Would come again.

We booked this hotel half board for a weeks holiday but were very disappointed. It obviously caters predominantly for all inclusive clients and everything about its services revolved around this package. The food was very poor quality with little change daily. The deserts consisted of large jellies and mouses that had been set in large oblong moulds and we're laid out in line on the counters, after several people had taken scoops from each one, the counter looked as if someone had walked through them. Breakfast was a joke the largest plate available was a side plate obviously aimed at cutting back the amount of food that could be accessed on one visit to the counter. The bedroom was spotlessly clean but the bed was so hard you could feel the springs we ended up more tired going home than when we arrived. On top of this we were directly above the lounge and the scrapping of chairs on marble was constant like Chinese torture. The Staff never smiled apart from the lady on reception who was lovely there was no character at all to this hotel. The only good point was everything was spotlessly clean.

Reception staff very welcoming and informative. Rooms clean and well kept. Pool beautiful however the lifeguard would not allow air beds/rings etc in pool. Can only reserve beds by the pool at 8.30 am or risk your towels being removed. Food fantastic, excellent choice and chef preparing hot meats/fish constantly. We were all inclusive, drinks choice was also excellent. Service excellent in all parts of hotel except the snack bar by the pool. Some of the staff there were friendly and efficient especially Jorge, however some bar staff ignored you(just some customer service training required.) The hotel is in a fabulous position. Just around corner from main shopping area and a 5 minute walk from beach. The beach is stunning. Beautiful promenade. If travelling to this resort again, I would definitely stay at the Said.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff especially reception, bar and restaurant staff. Good quality food with plenty of choice. Very clean hotel and comfortable room. Lovely location. Would definitely return here.

Great hotel Spotless throughout Food lovely and plenty of choice All staff are very friendly and helpful Reception couldn't be any nicer and let us see rooms first and let us choose which ones suited I had emailed before we arrived asking for one away from disco . We had pool and sea view room 307 3rd floorfloor didn't hear any noise from disco when doors closed

Visited at the end of July with some friends. We arrived quite late at night and as soon as we checked in, we were shown to the dining room where there was a selection of breads, meats, cheese, and more! Unexpected but a very welcome gesture after a long day of travelling, and a good sign of what was to come. All in all, we had a lovely stay at the hotel. Food is always an important factor when I am looking at hotels, and this hotel did not disappoint. We were half board, and the breakfast and dinner buffets were fantastic. Lots of choice and everything was fresh and replenished regularly. Definitely suitable for fussy eaters, there will always be something. We attended the evening hotel entertainment most nights which was always a laugh, for different reasons. Despite being in the minority being from England, the entertainment team made sure that all languages were covered. The cocktails were also pretty good! The location of the hotel was ideal. No more than 5 minutes walk to the beach, and many bars and restaurants if you fancied a change of scenery. The staff at reception were also very helpful in providing information such as public transport times and excursion information. For the price we paid, we were very happy with the hotel and would recommend it to others. We had a pool facing balcony so we were not affected by any street noise as mentioned in some of the other reviews and had no problems with sun beds.

My husband and I have just returned from The Said after a fabulous 2 week holiday, our 10th visit to this hotel. As in every previous visit, the hotel has maintained a very high standard in all aspects. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and the pool and gardens are immaculately maintained. All the staff, from the management down, are extremely courteous, helpful and so very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Over the years we have got to know so many of them on a personal level, and consider them to be good friends. There hasn't been a day during all our stays when we have not received a genuine warm greeting. The food is excellent, varied and plentiful, with ample choices for all tastes. We are already looking forward to our 11th visit. The Said is a credit to The Hipotels chain. Well done to everyone. See you all soon. Karen and Mike Williams

We had a pool view room, which was quiet with lovely views. The room was nice, but the shampoo/shower gel wasn't replaced when used. The restaurant was fabulous. The food was plentiful, with masses of choices. My recommendation is DON'T head for the chips and the stuff you eat all the time at home. Try a little of EVERYTHING! The fish and seafood was EXCEPTIONAL! I had the best sea bass I've ever eaten, it was in a green sauce that looked unappetizing, but was really tasty - like mushy peas. Delicious! The service in the restaurant was great, with staff attentive, quick, and polite. Between the head chef and the head waiter, they have got it spot on. Well done! The bar was less well-organised. The bar manager was good, as were Jorge, Lidia and Lorena (all very helpful and polite), but the other bar staff were less helpful and sometimes abrupt, bordering on rude. They could definitely do with a few more sunbeds. The hotel has a policy that you cannot reserve sunbeds with towels before 08:30 when breakfast starts. If you do, the towel Fuhrer will remove your towels. Just make sure that one person per room remains with the towels on the sunbeds until 08:30, and all will be well. You don't have to get down before 08:00 to get the sunbeds of your choice in the lovely gardens/poolside. The beach is 5 minutes stroll, and the main shopping street with fun parks for kids is 2 minutes away. The walk down the shopping street to Cala Bona and back again along the front is lovely, but stay off the cycle path or risk being run down! All-in-all, a hotel I would definitely recommend.
