Stayed with a group of friends age 30's to 50's and had a fabulous time. Thankfully it was a quieter time of year so we didn't experience too much noise (and probably made our own anyway!!) Yes the apartments are a bit battered but it was big and clean enough for a few days away and good value for money. We upgraded to all inclusive for 24 euros per 24 hours and we didn't leave until the evening and still had everything that day as well and felt we had more than our moneys worth. The one drink per person is a bit annoying even if you only want a soft drink. I also found it strange that you could drink alcohol all day but were only allowed tea/coffee at snack times as believe it or not there are some Brits who like a cuppa rather than a vodka during the morning!! I thought the food was very good for what we paid and yes I have stayed in many hotels and I would say the food was superior to some 4* I have stayed in. I consider myself a fussy eater but there was always a good choice, with pizza n pasta available along with a chicken dish that actually resembled chicken..Dont get me wrong its not Michelin star but for a 3 day break it was great value. There were quite a few families at the hotel who seemed to be enjoying it but this was probably due to it being out of "party season" and I would definitely not recommend Magaluf itself for a family holiday whichever hotel you chose. Staff seemed to cope very well and we had no issues so all in all a great stay and would recommend this hotel for groups of friends wanting something cheap and cheerful, close to the beach, bars and shops etc...
Brilliant value for an early holiday in Magalluf. Weather was hot for April and swimming pool area was big and friendly place to catch some rays. Background music great. Apartment style room, so much bigger compared to a normal hotel room and loved the balcony. Went half board and it was good and definitely worth it. Only needed a snack for lunch which we had in the apartment most days but there's a lot of outside cafes and restaurants as well. Some of the nightclubs weren't open yet as they don't open till May from what people told us but lot's of bars were and we had a great time. Staff at daytime great but at night so so, but that didn't make much difference to us. Beach is about 5-10mins away walking.
This hotel is an average. The heating was constantly on making the rooms boiling hot. The air con never worked for us the first day we got their we had problems with the key cards also it's bad that you have to pay for wifi and the tv. But it was a nice place to be the staff were kind and helpful, the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms could do with another light and shower heads changing.
Third time staying here and choose it for the big rooms and easy going staff and the atmosphere. If you want a quiet family sort of hotel it's not the one for you but for me and my mates it's the best there is. Young people, great pool, decent food and a good price. Weather was brilliant for April but it was a bit quiet for us as not all the bars had opened up yet. Was still a good week, but recommend coming here in May or June for more action.
We stayed for 9 nights, me my husband and 8 year old daughter. ...couldn't fault the place so don't take the bad reviews as true as I think it depends what you are on holiday for.. We had perfect room, cleaned everyday, fab pool as down the end of Magaluf so much quieter. Lovely views and the staff were so polite and helpful. Great atmosphere, lots of families as well as party people, kids club great, weather was so hot for early April so we were so lucky and loris dun everyday.Great value for money and clean. Self catering basic but can pay deposit for any extras needed. Couldn't fault it and would Def return. Thanks .
I booked via 'on the beach' & after having booked & paid my deposit I foolishly then read the 'trip advisor' reviews. I stuck with it as there were a mixed selection of posts. I am a single Mum & took my 11year old twins. This hotel is run down, dirty, full of Yobs who I'm afraid make me embarrassed to be British. Drunk, loud & vulgar - The walls are paper thin & the French couple next door to me where crying, fighting, snoring & shouting. I knocked on the wall to ask them to be quiet & they just knocked on the wall back. No regard for anyone else. The staff did the best they could - upon arrival I requested a pool view which in fairness they gave me,so I could watch my kids by the pool area from the balcony. The room sizes were surprisingly good as was the balcony. The shower room needs attention. Luckily being out of season it was supposedly not as bad as it could be however I wasn't prepared to hang around & I moved us to another more appropriate hotel. The indoor heated pool was closed two out of the 4 days we were there due to cleaning issues. It looked dirty & un hygienic to say the least. The hotel & tour operators need an urgent intervention with this hotel as it does have great potential. It's within walking distance to everything & in within a lovely setting. Monies needs to be spent on it & a zero tolerance on drunkenness & noise violation. GOOD LUCK
went all inclusive and only ate in once food was very poor got locked out of room first day for 2 hours was told it was because i had key card by my phone when my phone was locked in room at this time this happend several more times over the time we were there the shower was a nightmare as it leakedall over the bathroom floor had to put towels down every time we used it to stop yourself slipping up the bar in pool area made everyone ghet their own drinks even the childern
DO NOT BE FOULED!!! THIS MAY LOOK LIKE A LOVELY HOTEL BUT PLEASE READ BELOW!!!! I visited Magaluf with a company to work for the summer season. Within the first week, the security had already threaten to throw out our company (baring in mind we were occupying about 15 rooms with 4 people in each) because of noise from other holiday makers on our floor. One might me and my roommate got locked out of our room thinking the other one had the key, so we went to reception and he shouted at us for the way we were dressed (in our PJ's at 2am) and threw the key at us. Security also refused us entry to the hotel and screamed in our faces for talking at a normal volume level. If that wasn't enough for us all to be furious, one girl in the company was struggling to breath one afternoon, they took a look at her and walked away without calling a doctor/ambulance/anything that could have helped. I am writing this review in our second week with 2 more week to go until we move out into apartments. I am absolutely appalled at this customer service and would NOT recommend to anyone.
Its hard to believe this is my third time on holiday at Magaluf and second time booking Martinique, as soon as the season and the hotel opens up I reserve my stay with a couple of friends. This review is for April, the hotel is just newly opened and I can see a ton of improvements from last summer actually, mainly with the quality of the food its really good, the bartenders are really friendly, the cleaning service of our room is on time and they leave everything organised and clean, this is an excellent sec time experience and ill return for another time probably before the summer is over.
Just back from a week here and was great. Hotel not crowded but I suppose in summer it is. Weather amazing for April so could sit round the hotel pool which was big and very clean. Lot's of sunbeds and space. Room big with small kitchen and eating area which was fantastic to have in the room. Meant we could do our own tea and coffee and snacks and had our own cold drinks in fridge. Hotel food and drinks were good but we like our extra snacks! Supermarkets and shops and bars all very close to hotel. Good price for a nice quiet week away in a great hotel.
