Spent a short break in Magaluf yet again, fourth summer we holiday in Magaluf and this is the first time we have stayed at the Martinique hotel, and in comparison to all the others in the area, its by far the best in size and service. The staff working at the hotel were professional and understanding, the hotel is quite large and the crowd is fun, the room was also big with a big terrace. The food was good and the drinks fine, no complaints at all, we will keep coming back so long as the experience next time is the same as this one.
Here 1 week with gf in Magaluf and ready to do it all again next year. Hotel was ideal with kitchen and place to spread out in lounge. Lot's of cupboard space for stuff and bathroom good. Balcony but it faced road rather than pool. Just went on room only basis so made our own meals or ate out. Recommend Tom Browns. Walked everywhere and only got a taxi once one night when we'd had way to much and gf moaned about new shoes. Strip and beach walking distance. Reception staff nice at day but night could be rude and abrupt. There's a big pool and gets busy but still good. Good sized room for what we paid.
Firstly when we arrived at the hotel we knew it would be basic, but it was clean so we were happy! The staff and check in was easy! Our rep was nice. However the walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING!! We had guest 2 floors below us and we could hear them playing their music at 6:30am (after a night on the strip) the hotel did nothing to stop them or control the noise! We had drunken people kicking our door, knocking on it and even trying to get in! Every night! The hotel need to stop this from happening as there is a security guard on sight at night. The food in the hotel was okay, standard all inclusive! The downside to the all inclusive was the drinks as you were only allowed to get one drink person at all times! Which was annoying as a group of 4 we all had to go to the bar individually!! Would definitely not return to this hotel, and it is definitely not suitable for families!!!!
Not fit for families no sleep for 7 nights , drunk teenagers in corridors all night , banging doors, swearing shouting and scaring the kids to death , hotel was clean food was ok take away the idiots who ruin the British name £3000 wasted girls ages 8 and 15 this put them off Majorca for life terrible experience
Not been before but loved it. It really is party central every night. Have to say this hotel was a good one to stay at as got no trouble from staff and met loads of great people staying here. Room good and food ok. Went to Pirates show across road one night and got bladdered. Good show. Beach not far but the pool at the hotel is good enough to stick around all day especially if your all-inc as then you get to eat lunch without having to pay to eat outside. Bar could stay open longer at night but everything else was brilliant.
Where do I even start. Dirty, dirty, dirty! When arriving at the hotel the outside looked super old Kind of like a jail. The front desk area looked super dirty and old with only one person there to help. Rude and not so welcoming. When we went up to the room I almost passed out. After an 11 hour flight all I wanted to do was shower and sleep but I couldn't. No soap, no towel, the "bed" or shall we call it a couch was dirty, with cigarettes holes and stains. The floor had some kind of bacon on it which shows they don't clean the rooms. The balcony area was dirty with people throwing clothes and things off their balconies. I had no choice but to stay the night and literally slept covered from head to toe with my own clothes, towels and anything I can cover my self with. The hotel guests were all super loud until 7 am. I would never eve ever ever ever stay here! I rather sleep on the beach or in a car! Gross! Don't do it
I am just back in from a stag party and the twelve of us stayed at this hotel. Friendly staff, rooms are basic but the size is bigger than anywhere I've stayed before. I'd say most here are groups and the few couples I saw did their own thing. The full English set us up for the days drinking, even got two days on the sand there's a big choice of where to go for a beer all along the front, so it ended up being a beach crawl, my kind of thing. Fitted in a whole months beer allowance into a weekend. Pool fun if you like ball games. Bit rowdy but we were in Magaluf.
Bad points Touts selling excursions all over hotel School trips should not be allowed to stay in this property Good points Rooms large and clean Food and drink all good Pool area great Location great Security great Staff great REMEMBER IT'S A PARTY PROPERTY (SHAME AS IT COULD BE A GOOD RESORT FOR COUPLES, SINGLES AND FAMILIES)
Our first girls holiday. Couldn't really say bad about the hotel until our last night when we were chucked out by security and police to the pavement. 1 noise complaint from the family next door on their first night for making a bit of noise when coming back from a night out and we were escorted out within 20 minutes by police. Rooms are fine, huge balcony, good shower, cleaner half attempted to clean the room, although only 3 towels given when there were 4 guests staying in our room and a shortage of toilet roll. Pool, the bar areas and staff were great. Old guy on reception and older security guard both moody, didn't do much to help. Although the reps working throughout the hotel were amazing and helped us get some great deals and gave us some friendly advice on where to avoid/not spend money in. All inclusive food was basic but all you needed. Great location about 5 minute walk to strip and beach although far enough you couldn't hear the noise so could get your head down. Safe is a rip off payed a fortune but wouldn't go without one. Not for families or children, but a great hotel for young people/ hens/stags looking for a good time.
Amazing place. Had the holiday of my life so far. Went with 2 friends and hotel was the best place ever. Room was so big compared to what we got in Ibiza last year. Kitchen brilliant idea. Balcony for watching the pool action. Music good and staff all alright but super strict with bar closing time! Receptionist girl was super helpful when I needed something from chemists. She made me feel ok and gave me directions and times and everything. Took 10 mins to get to beach and clubs close. Didn't go for the food at the hotel but there's loads of places outside so didn't matter. Loved The Martinique! The one negative point is the noise from other guests but we were lucky because the boys staying next door weren't that bad.
