My husband went to this hotel every year and now many years later we decided to stay. We went as a package trip from Thomas Cook. As I am a light sleeper I contacted the hotel to ask for a room on a high floor away from the road. They provided this and the only noise that disturbed me was the children in other rooms being a little noisy. This is a family hotel and luckily we arrived in term time so it was still quiet. The food at breakfast was great and evening was also great although the desserts weren't always labelled and it wasn't easy to ask someone about the ingredients. It was nice to go to a package holiday with enough variety available and good cooking rather than bland dishes sitting there luke-warm. Occasionally the cooking stations struggled with demand however id rather wait for good fresh food. The outside area was nice. There were always places to sun bathe and with two adult pools it didn't feel overcrowded. We went to the hotel for 11 nights but after 7 we were ready to go as it is quite a walk to things. The only other thing I didn't like was the extra costs. The money to use the safe is a bit of a joke as this should be part of the price. You then have to pay deposits for the safe and the towels and then the new tourist tax. All in all you can depart with quite a bit of money when you check-in before your holiday has begun. The standard of the hotel is great and the changes they have made look nice.
Having stayed at the sister Los Principes hotel just across the road a few years ago we liked this area and thought we’d book this hotel due to the excellent reviews on TA. We booked via Jet2 and on arrival were swiftly and efficiently checked in. Rooms are modern, well equipped with fridge, tv, hairdryer, safe, tv (with some uk channels) balcony with good views if you are on a higher floor (5 floors in total). Only one down side was sound of lifts which started in earnest around 7.30 am. This would only potentially affect anyone staying in a room around the lift areas. Food in the restaurant was full of variety at both breakfast and dinner. Waiters were very friendly and helpful. Bar staff also friendly and drinks reasonably priced at approx €6 for a cocktail. Entertainment ok if you love bingo and a tribute band!!! Relaxed atmosphere though. Good pool facilities although pool reported to be cold (I preferred the temp of the sea). Plentiful sun beds round both pools. We also hired a car from reception. Excellent service at reasonable prices. We hired a fiat 500 convertible at €65 pd inc full tank of petrol and excess insurance. Car left outside hotel ready to collect and return back to hotel. Surrounding area very beautiful and worth exploring including Puerto Pollença, Formentor, Sollier (a must), and Monastery Lluc. Beach sun beds can be hired at €13 pd for 2 sun beds and umbrella. Sea very shallow and crystal clear. A wonderful week and I’d definitely return!!!!
The hotel was pleasant and clean lovely rooms and staff very friendly. Bar men were great in the hotel bar. Great breakfast. Thin walls and doors but weren’t disturbed and people generally quiet. Would stay here again!!
Another great holiday with jet 2 to Majorca we stayed at the Maritimo hotel 4 star hotel my wife and have stayed at this hotel 5 times it is a very friendly hotel the staff are amazing waiters staff at the reception looked after you no matter what time it was ,you had good selection of food at breakfast and dinner in the evening rooms were clean every day new towels every day cannot fault the service, will be going again next year
Wow , We new as soon as the coach stopped outside the hotel we were in for a treat. Fast and polite check in, Offer of light refreshments as we arrived as dinner was over, The reception offers you the first glimpse of the hotels excellent spotless standard . The rooms are smart, fresh and airy with excellent air com. Small fridge, imaculte bathroom with hairdyer. Only let down is the lack of draw space for folded clothes. The Restaurant offers a selection of food I've never seen in a holiday hotel before, loads of choice served with attention to detail and quality of product. The deserts are breathtaking. Three outdoor pools and an indoor pool in the spa which has a small gym and sauna. The lounge and patio bar is very pleasant with a team of friendly waiters . Entertainment of tribute acts good. The bingo evening and quiz nights fall a little flat and reflected by the small attendance of guests. Overall a fantastic place to stay one we can't wait to visit again, Praise must go to the management and staff who are delivering a standard second to none, Well done and thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.
Great hotel .nice food, good location & friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a quality hotel away from the busier resort centre of Alcudia. Would stay again especially out if school term when not as busy.
What can I say about this hotel that hasn’t already been said, superb! We were on the coach transfer looking at all the hotels people were getting dropped off at and kept thinking wow, but I wonder what ours would be like? Well when we arrived it looked fabulous, then we walked into the reception and OMG it was stunning, the ambiance was fantastic it was beautiful. The reception staff were excellent and very helpful nothing was too much trouble. The room was absolutely perfect in every way, despite one of the reviews I read the other day, I don’t understand where they were coming from. The restaurant was first class, something for everyone’s palette, joane the head waiter had his finger on the pulse he was always at hand to assist. The gym was small but enough to keep you topped up rather than heavy workout. Very clean. Only minor glitch was the entertainment wasn’t up to much very cheesy at times but other than that it was a first class holiday and fantastic break. Well done to all the staff!!!!
Excellent hotel, went as single traveller and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. Lovely clean room although lacked storage no shelves just hanging space. Possibly one of the best hotels I have stayed at for choice of food especially the desserts. Loads of sun beds that nobody reserved with a towel although the pools were very cold to get into but ok if kept active but couldn't stay and chat with anyone for too long as would be too cold. Would recommend hotel, do go to the beautiful beach the sea was lovely and warm.
My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights early September 2017. We arrived very late and had no issues checking in. We were even offered food in their restaurant and were told that a waiter was downstairs should we wish to eat. We didn't take them upon their kind offer and just went to bed. Room was compact but had everything we needed. We had a nice balcony overlooking the road on the first floor. Bathroom had a great shower and products were provided. The room was cleaned every day. We were 1/2 board so had breakfast and dinner each day. There was so much variety and it was all very nice. We never went hungry. Our waiter, Izzy, was hilarious. He worked very hard keeping us happy. He spoke very good English. All the other staff in the hotel were nothing but helpful - bar staff, reception staff, cleaning staff, everyone. The hotel was bright, airy and very clean. We swam in the two large outdoor pools which were cold when you first got in but OK once you were submerged!! We didn't use the indoor pool but the facilities looked good. Evening entertainment in the hotel was some of the best I'd ever experienced. We watched a little each evening but then ventured out for something different. All in all, a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay.
