Enjoyed a fabulous two week holiday at this fantastic location right on top of a beautiful sandy beach, excellent swimming pools too. We only went for the b&b option but from what we saw wouldn’t hesitate to go all inclusive next time, and oh yes, there will definitely be a next time
Stayed for 4 days , easy check in and was given a lovely room with a fantastic view of the pool and sea . Staff were very friendly although we didn't stay in hotel that much after we had eaten each night as we like to visit other places . Food was good and plenty to choose from Used the spa , this was quiet but very good . Was given beach towels and had these changed during our stay The hotel is in lovely position , right on beach - so could spend some time on the grassed area by pool or walk down to the beach . Beds on beach have a charge which I think worked out about 13 euros a day for 2beds and umbrella Had nice weather , one day of rain . Would def return to this hotel , my only criticism is on the Thomson rep desk there were information folders for everyone but not an English one but that's not a reflection on the hotel at all and any queries we had were dealt with immediately by reception . We had a late flight and very grateful that we were able to keep our room for a small charge which was such a help - Quick mention to the cleaning staff too , they did an excellent job in our room everyday A great holiday can't wait to return !
Overall this is a brilliant Hotel in a superb location. Placed right on the beach with lawn area between hotel and beach. It was great being on a lounger near the beach bar and pool on one side and the beach on the other. Great choice with 3 pools and spa area, lots of bikes to hire. Staff are very friendly, food and drinks superb. Shops are a minutes walk away, many Spar shops, restaurants and gift shops. Beach is ideal for walking, specially to Alcudia town, approximately 2 miles. Absolute stunning scenery with mountains. Would give this 5 star, but bed mattresses are very very firm and hotel had no other one to change as all are the same. Will go back but would take mattress topper.
The hotel is situated in a fantastic location right on the beach - there is no promenade between you and the beach - in a quiet cul-de-sac. There are supermarkets, pubs and a pizzeria within a 100m walk. The room we had was on the 3rd floor on the Alcudia side and was more than adequate for 3. The air con worked fine and the room benefits from a fridge, a safe and a tv with British channels if you need them. The bathroom is big and spacious with soap and other potions provided. The balcony was a little small but there was a limited sea view and the seats were cushioned. Which was nice around 6ish with a drink 😁. The room was cleaned daily with towels changes as required by the smiley maids. Food was plentiful and fresh (gorgeous croissants were a favourite) although the choice available decreased throughout the week as the numbers staying dwindled towards the end of the week. The main pool was very cold so didn't partake but the smaller pool and spa were warm and very warm. No restriction on age for the smaller outdoor pool but under 12s needed to be out of the spa by 1pm. The sauna/steam rooms were nice and hot but be aware the Europeans do like to go au naturale. The bar/waiters were efficient and the beer not too pricey. There was a cocktail happy hour which was appreciated. There is a sports pitch and a pro bike shed as well as crazy golf table tennis and pool table. There are supermarkets and restaurants very nearby so there is no need to explore too far if you don't want to. Boat trips are available from the adjacent pier and there are plenty of buses and taxis within 50m to venture out further. I would happily return especially later in the season when there are not so many people around and there is no rush to get sunbeds or beach space as I'm guessing it gets very busy on Summer. Overall a top hotel and a brilliant location.
Excellent Hotel right on the beach. You are given your own table for all meals at the beginning of the holiday. The choice of food would suit all tastes.Plenty room around the pool and on the grass. We always found a sunbed no matter what time of day we wanted one.Would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends.
I can definetely recommend that hotel, especially to families. Staff is super friendly and helpful and there is a range of activities for the young ones (Mini disco / club and other intra day things). There is a playground and beach is 30 meters away - fantastic location a big plus - and a warm pool which is big enough for a dozen kids and parents. Food was very good with something a little different on the offer every night - but in 7 days we did not really got bored. Quality is fantastic (mmm the cheese and the bread mmm - I love them). The only remark here is air-con was not working when we were there (end of Sep), which is fine, but with all the frying it gets hot. We asked to change a table and were given one by the window, which fixed the issue. Very nice drinks at the main bar. HB does not include any drinks at dinner (water is €2.80 or so, doh). Rooms are nice, perfectly clean, however a little small (not an issue really, we did not spend much time there anyway) - again we initially were given 130 which has a balcony next to some vent from the garage downstairs. Asked to change and were given a nicer room the next day with much better chairs in the balcony - we would have changed for the chairs themselves if we knew! + for a cot bed for the little one, really helpful. It was not hot enough to use the A/C, so we only put it on when we arrived - it seemed to be struggling to push any air, so not sure how this works in the summer time. Spa area is nice, but I guess it could use some extra touch. There are no hourglasses in the saunas or working thermometer. The one in salt chamber was showing 40+ degress and you could barely sit on the stone bench - it must have been warmer. The rainforest showers were barely working, I could not get a good temperature there, it kept going from cold to hot without me doing anything... not sure maybe that was intended? ;) but then you could not get a cold shower leaving the sauna... a bit weird / not how it supposed to be I believe. Overall it is a very nice place in a great area. Lots of shops around where you can buy necessities for the beach, not very pricy. Lots of car hire if you want to move around. Plenty (!!) of pro bike shops and rentals - if you are into biking you will love it. Quite a few restaurants, although you might be disappointed if you are looking for Spanish cusine - it's more American / German style. Wind/Kite surfing school within 15 minutes walk south. I would not mind coming back to the place / hotel anytime.
The staff are helpful if a little abrupt. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast so much choice something for everyone. Large swimming pool and a separate pool for younger children which is great. The beach is very clean and great for swimming too, very safe to walk along. The sun baed and umbrellas on the beach you have to pay for, but bonus is there is a locker so you can lock away your valuables while swimming.Plenty of shops and restaurants around .
We stayed at this hotel a week ago and were very impressed. The hotel is in a very good position - right on the beach, the staff were excellent and they upgraded us to a room with a sea view on request which was great. We had half board and felt the food was excellent and very varied. We got what we wanted which was a really relaxing week with everything in walking distance. We felt it was very good value for money and would come back again for sure.
Just come back from a 10 Night stay in this Hotel and our overall experience was great. I will mention all of the positives first as they certainly outweighed the negatives. Firstly the location is very good, with the Hotel set just back off the beach giving you the opportunity to enjoy the Swimming Pool and The Beach at the same time without having to travel. There is a grass area just set back from the Beach with plenty of sun beds, its not quite the same as lying on the Beach but certainly a lot cheaper than paying for the sun beds every day. The food was very very good, there was plenty of choice and didn't get repetitive like lots of Hotels. We normally eat out a couple of times when we visit Alcudia but the food was so good we didn't feel the need to. The evening entertainment was great and was certainly miles ahead of any other Hotel entertainment we have had in the past, The head entertainer was very funny and you could tell he really put a lot of effort in to getting in good acts. There is a mini Disco every night for the kids and parents get involved too and the kids really enjoyed it. There are also Waiters going round taking drinks orders and bringing them to you so you didn't need to keep going to the bar. All of the Staff are very friendly and very helpful. The Maids cleaned the rooms everyday and did a very good job and was always very pleasant and friendly when passing them in the mornings. There is a pool table, air hockey, table tennis and pin ball machine so plenty of things for kids at a price of course. There is WIFI available in the rooms and other areas, its free and its actually very good. Now to the negatives, the first room we were given was at the back of the Hotel on the first floor and the view was terrible and looked out at the back of other buildings and the balcony was very small. Luckily we were moved to the front, we never had a view as such but was much nicer to look out off the window and had a larger Balcony. The beds were very uncomfortable and didn't really get a great nights sleep once, so if i was to stay here again the beds would need to be improved. The main swimming pool was nice bit too cold, really had to pluck up courage to get myself in there and was definitely too cold for my 3 year old. Luckily there was a smaller heated pool to the side with a jacuzzi which was really nice and my son loved it in there. Beach towels were free but were only available from the spa 3 days (Mon, Thur and Saturdays) so could be improved by making them available 7 days from main reception. Dining experience was very good and waiting staff were very friendly but plates could have been cleared quicker at times, waiters were more concerned with clearing tables that had finished and left you with plates piling up at times. We may not rush back here as we like to try different Hotels but we would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone wishing to stay near Alcudia or in Playa de Muro, but make sure you pre book a room at the front or facing the Sea. The food, Entertainment, friendly Staff and Location really made this a great holiday.
I can't recomend this hotel enough. Right on a nice sandy beach, great for swimming. You can walk for miles along the beach. Rooms were nice, beds could be a little comfier, but clean and quiet. Food was generally good with lots of choice. Pool area is nice, not the biggest of pools, but was never crowded when we were there. You can always find a sunbed too and although most people tend to get up early and out towels down you don't really need to. The beach sunbeds are chargeable, but the lawn on the hotel is free and right on the beach. What really made the holiday for us was the staff, particularly the animation team who worked really hard during the day and in the evening to make sure everyone felt part of the experience. We were all very sad to leave.
