A great stay.Nice hotel. Plenty of shops a couple of hundred yards away. "Crazy Horse" pub just down the road does a very inexpensive and welcome pint. Always good for a laugh there aswell. Nice walk down the beach to see the catacombs.
Family holiday, me my wife and 12 year old daughter spent 10 days at the Exagon park hotel in Can Picafort. The Hotel is some distance from the airport, We booked a taxi both ways well worth the money. By coach it takes 2hours, by taxi 50 minutes. Cost £90 each way, but for comfort and time really worth the money. The hotel is situated close to Can Picafort, 10minutes by taxi, £6 fare or you can walk down the promenade 45 minuets, nice walk though. The hotel it self was very nice, The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very clean and spacious. Our room was a little small, but we did not spend much time in it. The restaurant was a good size and I can not fault the food or the choices. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of choice, English or continental and plenty of it. The fresh bread was superb. There is a large swimming pool with plenty of space around it. Lots of chairs and tables with lots of shade. You can purchase food or drinks at the pool. We were half board, as we prefer to eat lunch by the beach. The night time entertainment was good fun as One would expect from a hotel, every night. There is a small beach 5 minuets stroll from the hotel, but we did not like it. The walk takes you past a rather smelly waterway. We went to Can Picafort beach each day by taxi, 6 Euro. The beach was wonderful plenty of room, goes on for miles, lots of beds and trees to sit under. Ther were many restaurants to have lunch in, and the sea was lovely, my daughter loved it. Can Picafort is a nice town with plenty of shops. We were ther August 2017. We had a great time and I can not fault the hotel. I can really recommend the hotel and the staff. There were also, lots of things for kids to do. We will definitely go there again. Anthony
Had a hire car waiting at the airport - Vanrell - excellent, no deposit or fuel charge, cash payment. Took around an hour to drive to hotel, room ready on arrival at 12.30. Wife moaned about dated decor as last few years we've stayed in more modern hotels, however the room for 2 adults and 2 young kids was large and clean with air con and some UK tv channels. Food was good, although selection was not huge maybe as we were last week of the season before closing, tasty though. All inclusive drinks were good too, often but not always served brand names rather than cheap local alternatives. 5 mins walk to the local beach, 10 mins drive to Alcudia beach. Outdoor pool very cold, indoor pool good. TV in separate Lounge to the bar had football from different countries including UK. Drove to Pirates show in Magaluf one night, not as good as the hype, left early as the kids (6 and 3) were tired and bored as it dragged on. All in all a good holiday and a decent hotel for the money- £2k family of 4, Oct half term week. I'd recommend the Exagon Park and would be happy to return sometime. Hope this review helps.
Stayed for a week here as a sole traveller. Clearly seeing that I was one person they gave me a room where to reach it you have to go to sub level 1 and then walk way back to the end of the hotel that has the car park facing it. The room smelt. And the TV didn't have a proper signal. If they thought they were doing this to me they were wrong. I kicked up a stink as it was so obvious what they had done and i was duly moved the next day to a better room on the 1st floor. It was ok. Not great. The hotel was a bit boring. Pool and grounds were ok but nothing grabbed you as exciting. I'm glad I didn't stay as a couple here. It is not the right place. It is the right place for a family with shall kids who do not want to move out of this hotel. The kids will like the pool for hours we h day and not get bored. But adults will. I wouldn't return. As I say - it was ok. But not the wow factor. And the staff were nothing special. Did their job and that was it. I have gone to hotels as couples and as a single. I felt as a single here I was immediately treated as a second class citizen. Didn't like that. I paid just like everyone else! 3/10
I always fall into the trap of looking at other people's bad reviews, and I really have to stop. The saying that a holiday is what you make it, really is true, and I have decided some people will never be satisfied. This hotel was everything we hoped it would be. I don't really know where to start. Check in was quick and painless, with very helpful staff, even fetching me a bag of rice from the kitchen when our mobile phone got wet....... We sorted a safe for the week (€15 + €10 deposit), a wifi pass for our son, and rented pool towels for the week (€10 each, can be exchanged for dry ones every 3 days). You don't have to buy wifi time, there is an hour free daily in the reception area, but 24 hours a day is still not enough for our teenager !!!! Food was delicious, lots of choice for every meal, and freshly cooked meats and fish dishes daily. Lots of desserts, which hubby and son ploughed through quite happily, also a huge fruit selection at every meal. We really did love the food. Waiting staff were courteous and efficient, keeping tables clean and clear at all times. There was a cold cabinet in the bar that we could get a toasted sandwich (the sandwiches are made and we used the toastie maker provided ourselves) or fruit, in case we hadn't eaten enough during our meal !! Animation staff, in our case we only dealt with Giovannii, were a great laugh, and he was such fun, and a great asset to the team. Lots of things to do every day, archery, pistol shooting, rifle shooting, darts, football, pentac. Bar staff were polite and also a great laugh, they got to know us and what we liked to drink. Pools are lovely, though the outside one is a little on the cool side, though it didn't stop us from having a swim. The indoor pool was used a lot by our son, as was the jacuzzi and steam room. Rooms are very compact, but we were hardly in it. They were kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeping staff, who were always polite and efficient. We were in room 451 which looked out on to the front of the hotel, and had a sea view. The hotel is a short walk from the shops and the beach. The shops sell the usual holiday trinkets, and there is a very large market on a Friday which stretched the length of the road, which is closed off. I would definitely go to this hotel again, we loved it. It is a long journey from the airport, but it was nice just looking at the senery and to be honest the journey didn't bother us at all.
This hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were helpful. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were told that they did not have a booking for us but we were put into a studio room and told to see the manager in the morning after breakfast. We did this and although apparently our booking was showing on their system for 2018 they provided us with a room for our stay. The beds were very hard and I had to put the blankets on top of the bed to relieve the back pain caused. The hotel in general was very clean and staff helpful although they did start off talking in German before they realised we were English. The pool area is very nice and there was no problem getting a sun bed. The food in the restaurant was only ever warm and very boring which was the only problem with this hotel.
Hotel and grounds beautiful, service excellent nothing too much trouble. Away from crowds, but walking distance to shops, bars and beach. Land train stops directly outside takes you to main shops, restaurants beach if you dont feel up to a 20 minute walk. Staff super helpful and friendly.
Lovely location nice and peaceful with good views. Staff very friendly and helpful. Decor good with good facilities. Food most of the time fresh and plentiful with lots of fresh fruit and veg. And a good choice. Good value overall and would be happy to stay again.
Hotel was very well situated, very peaceful and relaxing. This was our second visit to this hotel and it did not disappoint. Staff were very friendly, hotel was very clean including our room, food was excellent. Service at the hotel was exceptional.
I have been to the hotel 3 years in a row and I love everything about it. The food is amazing. The facilities, staff and the surrounding area are brilliant. It feels like going home and I can't to book my next holiday there.
