We had an absolutely lovely week. It was our first time staying in an adults only hotel, and it won't be the last. The novelty of not having to get up at 5am to reserve sunbeds never got old. Instead there were plenty of spare sunbeds around the huge pool, even in the afternoon. The pool area was lovely and quiet and the hotel was extremely clean. The food was also lovely, to the extent that we ended up eating there every night when we'd originally only booked for breakfast. The bedrooms were large and clean with lovely views of the pool. The staff work very hard, and special mention must go to Pepe the restaurant manager and Pedro the bar manager. Both men were very friendly and helpful and worked extremely hard. We will definitely stay at the hotel again.
What an absolutely FANTASTIC hotel! We cannot rate it enough! Huge swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds - what was nice was the fact there are no "sunbeds race" every morning...you could go to breakfast, go off for a walk etc and come back and there still would be sunbeds available! The swimming pool/bar area was also very peaceful with no loud music nor animation team hassling you...perfect to chill, sleep on the sunbeds. The bar/snack was superb and delicious- cannot fault the service from the staff. However food in the restaurant was a little bit disappointing- at times food was lukewarm (sometimes cold) and feel chefs could have done more to ensure food temperature was regulated. Always a selection to choose from at Breakfast and Dinner and most food was delicious! The BBQ night was absolutely fab and very well presented! The junior suite room was spacious and cleaned to a high standard- our bedsheets were changed three times and we stayed for a week which was fantastic! Evening entertainment was average- there was something every other night and the bar area in the evening was very quiet (a lot of people went off site or back to rooms after dinner so there was no "bar" atmosphere) so if there are no evening entertainments, definitely recommend hotel to play some music in the background so it isn't too eerily quiet! . The location wise- it was ideal for what we wanted- it is quiet and if you want or intend to go out, the strip is 5-10 minutes walk away - plenty of bars and restaurants - Javier recommended various and would definitely recommend to check them out too! Whilst you are staying here, we would recommend for you to speak to Javier (great guy!!!) to find out more about the area and where to go! Once you know where everything is, the resort is beautiful! Overall the holiday and staying at our first adults only hotel, it was really the best, and we cannot fault it! From the moment we arrived to departing, we were really well-looked after! Thank you to all staff for making our stay very enjoyable and relaxing!
Hotel fabulous first time in adults only but will go back, staff brilliant nothing is a problem suite very large ,bright spotless cleaned every day, food good very good choice free pool towels and can have a kettle for your room free of charge beds round pool are plenty no need to reserve can always get a bed and it is so peaceful my husband is celiac (gluten free) gave him advise if there was a downfall they did not always have bread or cerials on display my husband doesn't like to ask ,but if it was there on show he would eat it on whole a very excellent hotel staff a brilliant
We returned to c'an picafort this year, not through the desire to come back to the same resort but because I found a bargain deal in half term. As a teacher a bonus was it was adults only.. and oh what a difference! The pool area was the calmest most peaceful I've ever been to. Huge pool, plenty of loungers. No need to race to put a towel out first thing. Stayed bed and breakfast, ate around 9am every day for a week, always plenty, usual kind of things. Very happy to be able to have some gluten free options also. Having a suite was lovely, having the space to get ready to go out in the evening, open all the doors and let the air through. I asked for a room high up with evening sun.. a mistake at times as it was just so hot haha! Toilets always clean even the ones by the pool. Cava and beer great prices. I wouldn't want to go back to resort again as it's fairly small having done it twice already- alcudia old town is a lovely visit though - however, if I needed a cheap break again in a school holiday and this hotel came up I would go!
I have never felt the need or desire to write a review before, but I want to tell others how fantastic this hotel actually is! The room was the typical 4* European hotel room, basic but yet very clean. We booked half board for our 5 night stay and had our room cleaned, fresh towels and bed made everyday. I have a lot of food allergies and Pepe and staff in the restaurant were very accommodating and helpful in telling me each night what dishes and desserts I could eat and those that were unsuitable due to my allergies. Each night Pepe would take me around the dishes and explain what food was suitable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. On our last night we went to a restaurant called Monaco and this was fantastic food ranging from fish and vegetarian dishes to meat kebabs, definitely a must try if you are in the area.
The staff were so attentive, nothing was to much trouble and always with a smile on their faces. Excellent breakfast, spacious clean rooms. So sad to be leaving. We had a lovely relaxing holiday. A huge thank you to all the hard working staff.
Thank you for the good service and nice stay during our one night trip. The room clean (even though the pillows could be better...), the pool area calm and beautiful, no noises! So lovely! The staff very friendly. We wish you a nice summer season, keep on smiling :)
Returned yesterday morning after a week at the Alzinar Mar Adult only hotel with 3 friends. Wonderful relaxing break with NO children. Impressive large clean swimming pool. Hotel is lovely & very clean, it has just been refurbished. Member of staff asked for our comments & I mentioned there wasn't a hairdryer in my room (I had one with me); within an hour a hairdryer was delivered. Very good food - a buffet breakfast was included in price & it was good, lots to choose from. Booked dinner twice & again lots of choice - you can look before you purchase. Had lunch in the pool bar every day with the best Sangria we tasted all holiday. Short stroll to sea front where there are lots of restaurants & shops. Plenty of sun loungers & no need to get up early & save. Only negative was the entertainment - not our taste. Excellent hotel for just chilling.
My friend and I have just returned from a short break at this hotel. It was one of the cleanest hotels that I have ever stayed in. It was spotless! The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. We stayed b&b and there was a great selection of food that catered for every one. The rooms were lovely and each have a balcony with a pool view. The hotel is beside a large supermarket which was handy and it was only a short walk from the beach and main tourist area. We would definitely return and would highly recommend. The only thing I missed was not having a kettle in the room to be able to make a coffee but we did have a mini fridge which was good to keep drinks cool. It has free wifi which was helpful. It is an adults only hotel which was great as it was very peaceful and relaxing around the pool with no children running about. We would highly rate this hotel!!!
We did a late deal and this hotel came up through thomson. Having noticed this had recently changed from a family hotel to Adults only we felt intrigued. On arrival we were greeted by the receptionist who was pleasant and welcomed us with a smile and were we aware of the "tourism tax" pointing to a sign. We were both confused as this wasn't mentioned in our booking. Anyway we said we would pay at the end of our holiday. So for anyone's info the charge is a follows. The tax is a daily levy of €2 – about £1.55 – per person. For a family of four on a holiday lasting a fortnight, this adds an extra £84 onto the holiday. However, after nine nights the tax is halved. This means that a two-week holiday is more likely to cost in the region of £70. We were given our key and was pointed to where our rooms were which was 2307 outside and passed the pool in the corner. A bit confusing to where this was but a kind bar man José showed us the way. Perhaps clear signage would have helped us but anyway once directed it was up in the lift to the 3rd floor. Into the room which was a junior room and wow it was lovely. Very clean bright and a wonderful view of the pool. The room was perfect and had a hairdryer(wife was pleased) fridge and a beautiful shower room. Good size tv with Sky news and BBC news channels but with all other channels German or Spanish. So if you want a night in with the tv brush up on your languages. A valuables safe is available in the room for a charge. The whole place is clean tidy and the week we were here was very peaceful. The hotel has a gym and this came in handy for me but please be aware some of the equipment is in disrepair and some are a bit dangerous. I have mentioned this to reception just so they are aware. Having said that the gym is free to use while you are here. There is a massage facility here but didn't use it so can't comment. We booked bed and breakfast and this is served 0745-10am. It's a Buffett style with every type of food you can think of. (BE AWARE IF YOU ARRIVE AT 1001am IT WOULD'VE BEEN CLEARED AWAY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED). From cereals to cooked foods bread etc you won't get hungry. Lunch is good too with a pool bar serving the usual burgers pizza etc. Evening meal is varied and cost €15 per person. Buffett style again and served from 6pm-9pm. A fantastic choice and you can view the food before purchasing to make sure it's for you. If you want to eat in your room the local supermarket is right next door for snacks etc. The rooms don't have kettles but ask at reception and they will provide one for you. A fridge is provided in the room. If like us you like the sun then the pool area is amazing and plenty of sun loungers which didn't need reserving lol. If you like the shade then the front of the hotel has covered loungers and a covered pool. The bar is well stocked and most nights have entertainment and the bar staff are very pleasant. The beach is a 10 minute walk and is lovely too. All in all a fantastic hotel and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. 4.5 stars from me and looking forward to rebooking soon.
