We stayed at this hotel on an all inclusive basis. The staff where helpful and friendly. Everywhere was clean and our room had a beautiful view from the balcony. Food was lovely. Definitely worth a visit.
We spent 2 weeks here in September/October and were very impressed as it was only a 3-star.Our room was spacious and well appointed and had a great view over the bay and Palma. The food was excellent for a hotel of this standard, particularly the breakfast. We like our bacon well done, and you only had to ask the chef at the egg station and he would put it on his griddle for a few extra minutes. This is how good the staff were----nothing was too much trouble and they were so hard-working and pleasant. The pool was quite large and had plenty of sunbeds, although you always get the "reservers" who put a towel on at 9 a.m. and don't turn up till 3p. m. Some selfish individuals even "reserved" a day bed AND a sunbed! The free shuttle to the beach was very useful, although not always very reliable, but it's only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Arenal isn't the nicest of places but the hotel is away from all the rubbish, while still All in all a very pleasant stay, and we would being convenient for everything.
Ideal location just at the eastern end of the beach. A short walk allowed you to go to the very small isolated beach on the far side of the marina. The hotel itself was clean, friendly, excellent food for an 'all inclusive'. We attended in early October and my wife made a great choice. We ended up without a sea view .. But what the hell ! Excellent Value and strongly recommended. Well done staff for making our short 4 day break so pleasant. A long way from Fawlty Towers ! Che !
The azuline Bahamas was a very clean and friendly hotel. The rooms are lovely, ours overlooked the pool with a sea view. We took the all inclusive option and was not disappointed. The food was excellent and plentiful, varied every day and snacks are made fresh to order when getting your drinks. The facilities are great and at this time of year was very accessible including a gym jacuzzi and sauna, with an outdoor pool, and just a 5 min walk to beautiful sandy beach, although the hotel does run a free shuttle service. You can also catch the bus to Parma on the opposite side of road for just €1.50 per person, well worth a visit. The only thing that let it down was the evening entertainment which was aimed towards the elderly coach trippers that was there for the week (but do feel this was only because it was out of season), although temps where in the thirty’s when we was there.
Booked this as a last minute deal, wasn't expecting the best as our one previous experience of all inclusive was terrible but thought for the price it was still worth it and would eat out. Very pleasantly surprised. The hotel very welcoming, clean and tidy everywhere and staff all friendly and helpful. Liked the way they replied in Spanish to my limited efforts rather than ignoring my attempts and replying in English. The food was excellent, varied selection and well presented. Not too much left out on the hotplates and was constantly being replenished. Nice bright dining room and hard working staff clearing and setting tables. Only had lunch there on the day we left as took a very good packed lunch with us on other days when we went to the beach or took bus into Palma. Location good, about 10-15 minute walk to the best part of the beach and to the airport bus stop. Bus to Palma either from opposite the hotel or from the beach. A great place to stay for a short break and will be back.
My wife saw this Holiday on The Travel Zoo site, it was an offer by a company called “Fleetway Travel” We were impressed by Fleetway Travel's Great Service. One of my mates uses Travel Zoo and he’s gone on some great cheap home and abroad holidays off there. On to The Hotel now. Our room was clean and tidy. It had a partial sea view and over looked a pine forest in the pine forest was a Sports centre and Lots of Chickens and Cockerels roaming around. Although we do love the sound of The Country Side. The sound of The many Cockerels competing for the loudest, the longest and the most “Cock a Doodle Do” does eventually get on your wick every Morning, noon and Night for a week. It doesn’t help when some drunks are egging them on at 3 am either. If they are wild and belong to no one then, I’d make a few Dinners out of them. Maybe, Coq au Vine and Cock-a-Leekie Soup. Our room had a small TV, with a few English speaking channels, they were all news channels, including Sky and CNN. Fair sized room and Balcony that had 2 chairs but no table. Good size wardrobe. That had two beach towels and two Bathrobes in there. In typical Spanish style, It had Twin Beds pushed together, we aren’t keen as we like at least a double bed. The bathroom, had a shower in the bath. Hair dryer. Toiletries. Plenty of clean towels. The Hotels Staff. All The reception staff were ok and the Housekeeping staff too. We noticed that some of the other staff worked in the Bar and were clearing tables in the restaurant too. A very small amount of them in The restaurant and The Bar could do with a few lessons in good Manners as we found them a bit ignorant along with the Girl that puts the music on at night. a chap served us in the Bar with a stoney face and didn’t utter a single word to us, even though I was using my manners and even talking in Spanish to him, he served then next person and he was Smiling and talking non stop to the next person who just happened to be Spanish. Although I’ve forgotten their names, There were 3 bar people that throughput our stay were Great. Very friendly, always talked, were well mannered, polite. All 3 got a tip off us at the end of our stay. There were more that we were going to give a tip to but we didn’t see them at the end of our Holiday. Night time entertainment was Typical *** Hotel stuff. Same old same old. The Hotel is situated up a Hill but The Hotel has a free shuttle mini van that runs every 20 minuets. It starts at 10am from the Hotel. We used it once to go to the sea front but when we came to use it to get back we waited 40 minutes by the drop off / pick up point and it didn’t turn up, so we walked back, as soon as we got near the Hotel the Mini Van came past us going to the seafront. We gave up on it after that. The 10am minibus Time going to the seafront was the most accurate. but coming back we gave up, as we didn’t know how long we were going to have to wait. The walk back from the drop off pick up point up one of the steep hills took us 10ish minutes. If your not very good on your feet, then please take that it’s situated up a steep hill into account before you book. Once you do get to the seafront it is flat and goes on for miles. The Food wasn’t to our taste. Although Kaz likes Salads and there was plenty of Salad things for her to choose from. I like soups. A few were ok a couple weren’t so good. They had a nice Big roast leg of pork one night but what spoilt that for me was the wrong vegetables and there was NO Gravy to go with it, so it was too dry for my liking. One night there was a whole back leg of Veal That came with Gravy but for me the Wrong vegetables again. There was Salmon one night, I didn’t try it but Kaz said it was ok. Kaz is a Sweet / pudding Fan But I’m not. She said that some were ok others weren’t. If it’s Breakfast, lunch or Dinner unless your a right fussy person, if you look hard enough there was always something to eat. ***We stayed for 7 nights. All the time we were there we were never Starving and both of us gained a pound in weight on our return home.*** This was a New one to us. At check in they issue each person with a small card with a barcode on it. I don’t know if they issue the Kiddies with one too. When you enter the restaurant, you use at the scanning machine that’s situated on the right hand side when you enter the restaurant. This is used at meal times, you scan yourself in but not when you leave the restaurant. There was usually someone there as you enter the restaurant. Greeting and Showing and Reminding people entering there what they have to do. I better mention the Snack Bar food. We never saw anyone behind there so we didn’t think it was open until we found out that, First of all you have to order you food from the poolside Bar. They give you a ticket, (then one of the Bar people goes to the snack bar ) you then take your ticket to the Snack Bar where they cook it for you. That’s explained why we never saw anyone behind there. Kaz had a cheese burger and I had a Hot Dog both of them were very nice, both of came with plain Crisps, which for us was a strange combination. Breakfast time 8-10 Lunch 1-3 Dinner 7:30 - 9:30 Snack Bar. When Kaz booked this Holiday. It was for Full Board plus. I enquired by email before we went, to see if we could upgrade to all inclusive and the cost. It was €12:50 per person per day more. So at check in we payed the extra. If you took into account how much the drinks were at the bar and how much we drank, then paying the extra worked out a bargain for us. The pool area has a Bar, with chairs and tables and sun loungers. We didn’t use the pool as it was cold and neither of us like swimming in cold water pools. When the sun is out, You do get The sun around the pool area but that’s in the afternoon as the hotel is in the way in the morning. Up on the next floor, Where the snack bar is, They have a nice area there, with chairs and tables plus better sun loungers. We know that it’s a 3 Star Hotel and you get what you pay for. So for the price we payed for this Holiday. It was Great value. This Holiday For Kaz and me. 3 star hotel. 7 nights, All inclusive. £775 approximately In June this year, We took our Grandson to 4 star hotel in Minorca. We stayed for 7 nights. Self Catering . Also This came with a child Free place. £1450 approximately People who stayed here while we were there, were a mixture of mainly old middle aged. Some families and people in their 20’s. Nationality’s were British, Spanish, French and German. Sorry if I’ve missed any others but that’s the only languages I can understand a few words of. We did notice that there were a few Londoners staying here. if the food was better here and all the Cockerels were rehoused far away. then we would definitely return. We aren’t bothered about the very few ignorant staff as they have saved us money because we don’t even consider giving them a Tip. So long as they get our Drinks for us, Then it’s up to them if they choose to be ignorant. It’s them that lose out of a Tip in the end. Otherwise , I would let Kaz decide if we returned, as she’s the one thats in charge in our Home.
Hotel very nice and very clean. Staff friendly and knowledgable. Food very good and varied and drinks palatable . Lovely pool and plenty of sun beds. Even 4 cabanas!, Now the cons entertainment first night was flamenco which was really good but it went downhill every night after that . 2nd night Bingo followed by a movie quiz , 3rd bingo followed by a 1940 s style duo who murdered every song they tried and couldn’t play their instruments 4th bingo followed by drunken karaoke. Thankfully we were on the third floor with a “sea and pool view” well away from the “entertainment “. The Wi-fi in reception is free but in the rooms is €5 per day but €20 gets 7 day coverage even so it’s not reliable. Just seen another review saying the food is awful that is so wrong as there was plenty of choice and they even had a chef who would cook to order!!! All in all a very enjoyable break . .
Hotel clean and staff friendly however if you are looking for a quiet vacation this may not be the place, the bedroom doors are extremely noisy any late night people returning or early morning leavers will be heard, the walls are thin so you can hear noisey neighbours and TVs. The pool does not get any sun until around mid day or later so if you are a sun worshipper you will need to go to the beach. The food was good with a good variety and rooms were a fair size, overall for a short break it was a good hotel.
Beautiful clean hotel in every department. All the staff were very friendly. We had a lovely room. The sea front was about 15 mins walk away. They run a bus all day for those not wishing to walk. Food was replenished continuously. No running out of any choice if you were last in the dining room. . Plenty of choices to suit most tastes. No shortage of sun beds around the pool.. . No problems at all
I promise anybody that reads this that this is an HONEST review and not only just my opinion but is also the general opinion of people staying here too. As the title says. The food is just terrible. I just would not know where to start on this subject. We have had many All Inclusive deals and we have never chosen a hotel just because we thought that the food would be of Michelin star quality because NORMALLY !! you will always find something you like. But we are now 2 days into a 4 night break and as far as eating in the hotel is concerned we have just about had it !!!. From tomorrow morning we are eating out for Breakfast,Lunch and dinner. We cannot stomach the food for another 2 days it’s that bad !!!. We are amazed by some of the reviews that say the food is good. Really !? . I don’t know what they must be comparing it to. Apart from that the hotel is very clean. I have found ALL !! the staff really nice. Entertainment is very poor though. Not a hotel for kids they would be bored out of their minds. Beach is a good 20 minute walk. The beach is spoilt by peddlers constantly trying to sell you something as in fake handbags, sunglasses, massages, drinks it’s relentless. You cannot relax because the moment you nod off another peddler walks by shouting out what they have to sell. It’s like being at a market. This needs to be stopped as it’s really annoying. Not the best place to holiday even though it’s October typical Spanish resort very much like a Benidorm but in Majorca.
