Villa Kastro located on the sea shore, 15 kms far or about 15 mins drive from Heraklion airport, is an ideal destination for relaxing holidays in an amazing environment with direct access to a private beach.
It is a rustique Villa built on the edge of a peninsula just above a secluded beach overlooking the gulf of Heraklion. The Villa has total size of about 220 sqm, deployed on a 2000 sqm plot and it is available both for short as well as for long term rentals. The property is ideal for families, couples or groups of friends wishing to spend their vacation on idyllic environment and enjoy the nature, the easy access to the sea, the peace, the calm and tranquility.

Indoor space
The Villa is divided into two levels. Ground floor offers a spacious living room with fireplace, a separate dining room with magnificent views to the sea, a fully equipped kitchen, a discrete guest WC, and an additional living room.
First floor includes the three bedrooms that can accomdate 8 adults. A spacious master bedroom with double bed and a private WC, an adjacent workspace (office) with a desk, and a private terrace with amazing view to the sea and the antiquities of "Paleocastro" fortress. A second bedroom with two single beds and a third one with a double and a bunk bed bed. All beds are equipped with orthopedic matresses. On the same floor Guests can share the main bathroom and one more WC. The interiors of the villa are very spacious and airy with plenty of daylight getting through the broad windows and furnished with a rustique style.The villa can accommodate 8 adults in the three bedrooms and 2 more persons in the sofas around the house. Baby cots are also available free of charge.

External studio
The external guest house which consists of a 35 sqm studio with a double bed, a sofa, a kitchenette, and a shower bath. It is located within the property but independent of the main building. Our guests has access to this facility when the company are more than 8 persons (9 or 10). It is located within the property but independent of the main building.

Outdoor
The outdoor area also includes a dining space, sundeck settings suitable for leisure, sunbathing, a lounge area equipped with comfortable sofas, and a BBQ area. The landscaped garden in beautiful areas, flower beds and pathways ensuring quiet, privacy, tranquility and serenity. The verandas of the villa, cover more than 400 sqm and are an ideal spot for relaxation overlooking the amazing sea view, enjoying morning coffee, lunch or dinner glazing the tranquil emerald waters of the sea.

Beach access and local attractions
The villa offers a direct access (dropping 32 steps) to a semi private beach with amazing clean blue Aegean waters, and an amazing spot on the seafront edge of a rock, suitable for fishing and the temporary parking of our guests boat (rented or owned).
In addition, in a short walking distance of few hundred meters, our guest can experience more busy and organized beach complexes. Guests seeking more "noise", can reach in less than 10mins drive the cosmopolitan summer resorts of Ammoudara area, Agia Pelagia and Lygaria beach, with all necessary facilities: shops, restaurants, pharmacy, bakery, bank, gas station etc. and very close to the most famous tourist attractions. The property is close (11kms) to Heraklion city, within 15’ drive, offering plenty of museums, the Knossos palace, and other attractions apart from restaurants, coffee shops and night life.
