Amazing views and authentic food!

We were extremely happy with our experience at Estate Kares. We had a spacious room with a full kitchen and amazing views on three sides. We loved staying in a more rural setting, but with easy access to many really interesting and beautiful sights. The road into the estate is typical of rural Crete so be prepared for some bumps and turns. Our host, Georgia, offered a wealth of knowledge about what to see on the island and cooked fabulous traditional Cretan meals (her moussaka is not to be missed). She is a fun and hospitable person who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable which suited us perfectly. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our stay for 4 nights. The atmosphere was very relaxed and you could enjoy a beautiful view. We were kindly assisted by Anna.The only downside was that you had to let them know a day in advance what you wanted from the menu for dinner, but the food was then prepared deliciously. I definitely recommend staying there.

Mostly for those who have children :)

The name of place is " Ktima Kares " ! The way to get this place is a bit like off-road type, which maybe not everyone like it! I was a bit scared :) The pool is enough cold in hot weather, you can sleep deep! Make sure that Georgia is there! She will help you! Unfortunately I had to leave this place because of my personal issues! I heard, with 25€ you can get a ride to the beach! If you have children, but you wanna not to pay too much, this is one of good ideas! Thank you :)
