Satisfactory Stay without much high expectation.

The staff services were excellent accept for one of the car park exit attendant who insisted that my Indonesian friend are not entitled to free parking even thou he was a guest of the hotel staying for 4 nights. He paid to avoid further issue. There was a big sign "FREE PARKING" at the reception. I guest this is culturally wrong to be happening to their own country folks. My friend was staying in the 2nd room booked by me as a customer of the hotel throughout our 2nd stay. The room upkeep had to be refreshed as molds and cracks can be seen in the toilets. The shower cubicle floor should be treated with anti skid as they are very slippery when wet. Towels are too worn out. Bedroom is comfortable and clean. Overall our stay is considered satisfactory with not having to expect more. Hope that the hotel can improve on the toilet issues so that I we can consider staying with them again.

Good hotel

The staffs were amazingly polite. I booked room only without the breakfast but they gave me free breakfast anyway. The room was average, cracked wall here and there. A little mold in the bathroom I think it's a common thing in tropical countries. We stayed there for 9 days, they never changed the bed sheets or replaced the coffee cups with the clean ones unless we put the spoons inside the cups. But overall, it was an excellent stay.

Overall our stay at this hotel was just ok. Nothing special about the hotel except for the location that is next to the mall. It was very difficult to get a parking spot and sometimes we had to park at the mall's parking lot. The interior design of the hotel makes the hotel looks old, in my opinion. The amenities were not as complete as other hotels I stayed in with the same rate. However, they gave us some complimentary drinks. The breakfast was ok with one or two dishes that hit the spot.

Convenient and comfortable hotel

Cosy, comfortable hotel connected to a large shopping centre - Central Mall in Surabaya. Plenty of food options and some decent shopping to be done. There's a supermarket as well. This is very convenient for families, or solo travellers who may not wish to venture too far from the hotel for meals or groceries. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well! I will definitely stay there again if I visit and highly recommend others to do the same.

We came around 7pm at the hotel. Asked the receptionist to get us the non-smoking room and the room location not very far from the elevator. The receptionist said OK with a big smile. But, what we got??? A smoking room and the location far from the elevator :( Not only that, the room seem unprepared. Hand towel and the toiletries was not available. We had to call room service several times to get them providing those things. During breakfast, the food taste was nothing special and far from 4-star hotel standard. Overall, I feel disappointed with this hotel.

Friendly and safe place to stay.

Checking in was easy and fast enough. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They offer live music at the lounge adjacent to the front lobby. The band was very friendly and engaging; taking requests. Service at the lounge was friendly but, a bit slow. Stay away from any alcohol there except the bottled beer. It seemed like they were substituting some kind of cheap stuff for the brand names in the menu. We only had two mixed drinks each but, the taste was a bit off. We also felt unusually horrible in the morning from only having two drinks. It was raining while we were there, so we did not use the pool. The pool looked nice. It has a little bar and a small gym next to it. No one was using it because of the weather. It didn't look like the bar there was open; probably only a summer time offering. The cleanliness in the room was not very good. We found black mold in the shower around the window, all over the pull down privacy screen and in the tile grout. The room was dusty around many surfaces and the floor. It looked like the TV had not been cleaned in weeks. There was a good enough AC unit but, no way to crack open a window. and there was no ventilation or fresh air supply to the room. Even with the AC on it was obvious we were a little oxygen deprived by morning. It was noisy. we could hear casual conversion level noises from all adjacent rooms and the hallway.

Convenient location and comfortable stay

Convenient location, next to a large shopping mall and only about 5 mins drive to the main attractions and train station. A clean hotel with pleasant staff. We had buffet breakfast the next morning - large variety of food and tasty local food. Breads were not as tasty though but still edible. Room was large, clean and comfy. We got a free upgrade to the mountain view room - was such a joy waking up to a beautiful view. Overall, a comfortable stay.
