Booked this hotel via hotels.com. Travel from KL to Segamat and back to Melaka for a night stay. Booked 2 rooms. Checkin was slow. Front desk managed by 1person. He took up 3 calls for room enquiries during my checkin. Went up the room and found one of the room keycard does not allowed to access. Went down to reception and the keycard was reprogram. Still the keycard does not work and finally the front desk went up to the room together. Inserting the keycard managed to open the door, suddenly heard vrooming sound from some fan. Unpleasant checkin. Given another room it was ok but later found a 4ft cracked on the mirror was not rectified. On another room, we flip over the bed lining/deco found a big burnt hole underneath. Then later found bath towel and floor mat is not at its place. Made a complaint to their management and their reply was "its agreed the hotel fault but customer also have to understand it is peak period, so many things may have went wrong". However, one thing I am very sure is the room rate has alao went up during peak period. Decide to stay or not is up to you..but for me is NEVER EVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

It was good stay i can say, room size is too small compare to what we see in pics. Air conditioner was perfect, breakfast can be improved. No refrigerator in room. WiFi very poor. Overall average stay.

Nice but noisy

This was a little bit out of the way but still not far at all. There were a lot of coach tours and they were very noisy from around 6am. Overall stay was fine but noisy.

This is a new hotel so it came as a surprise when I experienced 2 power trips on the second night of my stay. Hotel should get this sorted out. Location wise, it is just about 10 minutes' walk to the shopping centres, which is great!

ホテルの職員は頑張っているが…

家族4人で3泊の利用。立地は、ハッテンスクエアやマコタパレードへも歩ける距離で、飲食店も近くに沢山あり、とても便利。設備は、やや問題があった。チェックイン直後の部屋は7階のファミリールームだったが、天井から雨漏りしてベッドが水浸しになっていた。フロントへ伝えると4階のファミリールームへ移るように言われ、そちらへ移ると今度は室内金庫がロックされていた。これもフロントへ伝えて改善されたが、3日目の晩ぐらいに突然テレビが動かなくなり、これもフロントへ伝えると、テレビを交換すると言い出して大騒ぎに。サービスは、そういう文化なのかどうなのか、部屋の清掃がいい加減で、シーツ交換の依頼をしても無視されてばかりで、部屋も廊下も常時埃だらけだった。無料の朝食は、全体的に美味しいが、野菜だけは鮮度が悪くてどうにも食べる気にならなかった。ということで、設備には難点が多いが、それを補うフロントスタッフの対応自体は迅速で熱心、ただし完璧さは期待できないという印象。

Needs improvement

Staff checked me in to a room that still staying by others. End up told me it was the staff's mistake during check in progress. Each room only provide one card. The washroom is dirty.

Power Tripped 4/5 times a night!

We checked-in at about 1.30am, upon arrival the hotel lobby door was locked(Maybe is for security reason). After check-in, the first power tripped happen about 230am. When call to operator, they manage to solved it quickly. We thought it was fine since they fixed it. Somemore is already late night. Then the second blackout happen again at 730am. When call to operator, they ask us to wait till the technician report to work which is after 1 hour later. We was staying at the humid room with the infant. The technician told us not to use any plug at room, it might due some of the plug failure that causing the power tripped. Even we stop using all the plug, it still happen for 3rd and 4th times. Imaging, we are showering half way with cold water in the morning. Upon check out, we were asking whether could have some discount of the room rate as a compensation. The receptionist said we didnt request to change room. Thus no discount allowed. What a terrible experience, if we could predict it will happen so many times, we will not even book this hotel at the first place.

Service by the hotel

The hotel wireless wifi was down when check in and the door lock hatch was damage and the interior bed sheet had blood stamp and lastly air con not cold had to set at 16oC. Cleanliness is so bad.

Pleasant stay.

Was given the top floor with great city and ocean view. This made up for the messed up booking when double bed was booked but was given twin bed due to "late and overwhelming demand" as claimed by the front desk. Room was neat with modern layout and furniture. Bathroom was installed with rain-shower fitting, nice touch. Overall good experience with the hotel stay.
