Family room was huge. Very clean with new private bathroom. Aircon was great. More than enough storage space for baggage. Easy on site parking. Easy to check in and out. Bistro at hotel looked fabulous but unfortunately didn't get to eat at the venue as restaurant completely booked out and hotel was packed. Will make sure to book at the bistro next time because we will definitely be back. I couldn't fault anything about the stay. Most definitely recommend.

Noisy door

Heavy door to get into corridor for the rooms was so noisy it would appear that nobody can actually close the door. Quietly everything else was great though.

Well priced accommodation with the convenience of a hotel for dining etc. The room was large, comfortable and quiet. However the room we were first allocated had not been serviced after the previous occupants (we were moved to another room). The bathroom was not well designed, specifically the very small sink with a large awkward mixer tap and nowhere to put your toothbrush, shaver etc. And the only soap dispenser was in the shower. There were no power points by the bedside - eventually we found a power board behind the bed. Once we settled in everything was fine but these were irritations that could be improved.

My only issue was I tried calling them in the morning to ask re: late check in. No answer, went to voicemail. I left my details but no call back. We checked in at 7pm. Check in was smooth. It was little confusing because the counter was in a corner of the bar. Otherwise, The Staff was lovely and apologetic about the missed call earlier and not calling back. Our Room was clean. Bathroom was slightly old but also clean. Price was ok. We had a lovely time. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again in the future.

Only one issue

The only problem we had with our stay was the entrance door to the hallway where all the rooms were located. The door slammed everytime someone come and left disturbing peace and sleep. Our room was closest to the door. My suggestion that it be changed to a door that doesn't slam or put a sign on the door informing patrons not to let the door slam

From the moment I walked to the bar and announced I had a booking, I was spoilt. The staff could not have been nicer or more welcoming. My room was amazing, large tv, able to access sport as a diversion as I was there on a study trip. When you arrive on a Saturday arvo and the bistro is packed, you just know that the food and service will be outstanding. The Windsor Castle did not disappoint in any area. The staff informed me, upon check in, that there would be music playing after dinner. Honestly, I couldn’t hear it from my room and slept well. A huge thank you to the staff that looked after me during my stay. I will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it for the weary traveller who needs some “ looking after” the lovely people who look after you are amazing, great place to stay 👍

Towels were small and one had lipstick on from previous customer. Artificial Fingernail were on the carpet from previous customer. Milk, sugar, biscuit and coffee were not restocked so until there was a shop open we went without. Room's uninsulated so noisy from client's talking in stairwell and rooms and slamming doors, suggest more sign's. Cup's were partially rinsed so milk residues still in cup.
