The beautiful, exceptional country house with a historic stone limestone facade made of shell limestone - a barn built around 1890 and completely renovated a few years ago according to design and ecological (solar thermal-supported pellet heating; electricity from your own roof) and completely renovated - is suitable for large groups up to 14 people, but also for small groups, couples or single travelers who are looking for a special holiday apartment in Mainz. The furnishings are elegant, bright and complete, but so reduced (without “knick-knacks”) that our guests have space to develop - according to the design feature “less is more”. Exactly how we like it ourselves.

Welcoming and Charming

This was our first stay in Germany and we were very happy with the location. Igno was wonderful upon greeting us, making sure we had everything needed, he was even willing to help us with getting travel for our group of 7 when we were unable to speak the language (he actually stopped eating dinner with his family to assist!!). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thank Igno for his hospitality.

Neighborhood in Mainz was delightful! Sleeping arrangements as advertised - two bedrooms which sleep 2 each on 2nd floor, and one bedroom with other beds/futons on top floor. Kitchen was a bit underequipped compared to our other European VRBO experiences - no vegetable peeler, no saucepans smaller than multiple gallon, very minimal spices. Kitchen not really equipped to cook. Backyard is NOT AS ADVERTISED - overgrown and unkempt waist high grass made it unusable except patio and table directly outside back door. And you share a wall with tenants (not renters), who were using outdoor table right outside kitchen window without explanation. On last night, had to ask tenants to turn down bumping party music after 11pm.

Ausgezeichnete Wahl

Die Unterkunft ist sehr modern und stilsicher gebaut. Dies gilt auch für die gesamte Inneneinrichtung und die Terrasse. Hier bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Die fussläufige Verbindung zur Bushaltestelle ist in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen, so dass der PKW für einen Stadtbesuch nicht bewegt werden muss. Die Nutzungszeiten des Aussenbereiches müssen penibel eingehalten werden. Bei voller Belegung des Hauses wird es mit nur einem Badezimmer ein wenig eng. Wir haben ein tolles Wochenende verbracht und können die Unterkunft in jedem Falle weiterempfehlen.

Sehr schönes Haus in toller Lage - höflicher und freundlicher Vermieter, sehr gute Kommunikation

Wir mussten wegen eines Wasserschadens in unserer Wohnung leider sehr kurzfristig für mehrere Wochen umsiedeln und der Vermieter (Herr Fischer) war hier wirklich sehr hilfsbereit und hat dies für uns ebenso kurzfristig und unkompliziert gestalten können! Er hat sich Mühe gegeben und der Kontakt und die Kommunikation waren stets sehr höflich, freundlich und angenehm. Das Haus ist ohne Schnickschnack, aber sehr schön sowie geschmackvoll eingerichtet und vor allem auch sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten und konnten uns so schnell wohl und wie zu Hause fühlen. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen und auch gut angebunden. Supermärkte, Metzger und ein wirklich guter Bäcker sind alle fußläufig erreichbar. Herzlichen Dank für die gute Zeit in Ihrem schönen Haus, Herr Fischer!

Schönes Haus in Stadtnähe

Wir reisten mit einer Gruppe von 8 Leuten an und wurden (auch zu späterer Uhrzeit) persönlich vom Vermieter empfangen. Dieser war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben das Haus genauso wie in den Bildern vorgefunden. Positiv anzumerken sind die gute, wenn auch zweckmäßige, Ausstattung sowie die Sauberkeit. Diese Unterkunft bietet sich auch aufgrund der zahlreichen Schlafmöglichkeiten durchaus für eine größere Gruppe an. Bendenken sollte man hierbei allerdings, dass nur ein Bad vorhanden ist. Des weiteren sind die vorgegeben Nutzungszeiten für den Garten natürlich etwas ärgerlich und sollten vorher bedacht werden. Die Lage ist super und bildet einen guten Startpunkt für ausgiebige Wanderungen. Bäcker und Supermarkt sind schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Stadtzentrum ist zudem per Bus in gut 10 Minuten erreichbar. Empfehlenswert!

Nicht für Gruppen geeignet

Durch eine Verordnung der Stadt Mainz durfte der Garten nicht genutzt werden. Der Hinweis erfolgte 2 Tage vor Anreise, was für eine größere Personengruppe (14 Personen) sehr kurzfristig ist, zumal die Stornofrist über fewo bereits abgelaufen war. Der Gastgeber hat sich bemüht, Kompromisse zu finden - für den angebotenen Preis und die eingeschränkten Nutzungsmöglichkeiten würde ich die Unterkunft nicht empfehlen. Der Gastgeber/Nachbar kam während des Aufenthalts mehrmals rüber, um uns auf weitere Beschränkungen/Hausregeln aufmerksam zu machen, sodass man seinen Aufenthalt nicht unbeschwert genießen konnte (wir haben peinlich genau auf die Ruhezeiten geachtet). In der Kommunikation wurde mehrmals darauf hingewiesen, eine möglichst faire und gnädige Bewertung abzugeben, trotz - oder gerade wegen - der kurzfristig „angepassten Umstände“. Das Haus und die Lage sind schön, wenn man sich darauf einlässt, den Außenbereich/Garten nicht bzw. Nur eingeschränkt zu nutzen und zusätzlich in Kauf nimmt, mit dem Gastgeber auf einem Grundstück zu wohnen.

Wir hatten ein tolles Wochenende in Mainz und dieser tollen Ferienwohnung. Alles war wie beschrieben vorhanden und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter erstklassig. Die zweckmäßige Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Besonders hervorheben ist die herzlichen Vermieter. Einziges Manko war das fehlende WLAN - zu verschmerzen bei schönem Wetter. Alles in allem einem absolute Empfehlung für Übernachtungen mit größeren Gruppen.

Unsere kleine Familie hat den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und wir hatten schöne Tage. Das Haus ist toll eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Positiv: Saubere, voll eingerichtete Häuser Keinerlei Nippes Sehr schöner, großer Garten mit Grillstelle, Sandkasten , Trampolin Sehr nette Vermieter Gute Kommunikation im Vorfeld Negativ: Ab 22.00 Uhr darf man sich nicht mehr im Garten aufhalten - auch nicht am Wochenende - aufgrund der Nähe zur Nachbarschaft Pro Haus 1Bad , heißt 1 Toilette Fazit: Wir hatten alle 3 Häuser gemietet mit insgesamt 7 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern . Nach 22.00 Uhr konnte man sich sehr gut mit allen Personen ( auch mit noch mehr Personen möglich) in dem großen Wohnzimmer des mittleren Hauses aufhalten . Trotz den Negativpunkten absolut weiter zu empfehlen ! Würde ich jederzeit wieder mieten !

Wir - eine Reisegruppe von sechs jungen Erwachsenen - haben uns im Haus wohl gefühlt. Ingo, der Vermieter, war freundlich und hat uns sogar Süßigkeiten zur Begrüßung hingelegt. Die Einrichtung ist modern und funktional. Die Küche ist mit Allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Um die Gemütlichkeit noch weiter zu steigern hätten wir uns noch etwas Kunst (Bilder, usw. ) und Pflanzen im Haus gewünscht. Ohne jene wirkte es etwas steril, obgleich, dank des schönen Holzbodens, des großen Gartens und der Natursteinaussenwand, behaglich. Positiv hervorzuheben ist auch die herausragende Sauberkeit des Hauses, der Supermarkt in 3min Laufdistanz und die gute Busanbindung nach Mainz. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen und es weiterempehlen.

Modernes Haus, toller mediterraner Garten, strenge Regeln

Vorab: wir haben ein wunderbares Wochenende in Ingos Ferienhaus verbracht. Hier ein paar Pros und Kontras: Pro: - Riesen Garten mit mediterranem Charme! Etwas ausgedörrt aber mit Natzrsteinmauern auf weitläufigem Terrain. Erwartet man bei der stadtnahen Lage und der Nachbarschaft nicht - Ingo und Familie sind super nett und deutlich kulanter und entspannter als es die strikte Einweisung vermuten lässt (mehr dazu unten) - Das Haus ist relativ frisch gebaut, hat von außen auch mediterranen Flair und ist innen topmodern eingerichtet. Kontra: - Bei der Einweisung hat Ingo uns auf einige wichtige Regeln hingewiesen, die relativ strikt und heftig klangen (absolut keinen Lärm nach 22h draußen, weichholzboden mit Kratzgefahr und Wasserschadengefahr im Bad). Der Schock zu Anfang hat sich aber stark relativiert. Das Haus ist gut isoliert und Ingos Familie total entspannt. Drinnen war krach auch zu später Stunde kein Thema. - Ausstattung des Hauses könnte etwas üppiger sein (mehr Pfannen etc.) - Das Haus ist deutlich weniger geräumig als es die weitwinkelfotos vermuten lassen. Dennoch ausreichend Platz. - für meinen Geschmack ist es etwas zu karg eingerichtet (nichts an den Wänden, cleane minimalistische Einrichtung) Insgesamt trotzdem ein echt guter Aufenthalt.

Wunderschönes Haus

Das Haus ist wunderschön und sieht aus wie auf den Bildern. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Terrasse und der Garten ebenfalls und eignen sich perfekt um zu entspannen und abzuschalten. Es war schön ruhig und die Vermieter sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Jederzeit wieder!

Tolles Haus mit wunderschönem Garten

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist wirklich schön und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und Hof und Garten sind ein echter Traum. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.
