Summary: Recently built and located in the city center, very bright and spacious, with a complimentary allocated underground parking spot included in the price, in a very quiet residencial area with excellent connections. Ideal if you are coming by car since it is located outside the traffic restricted area called 'Madrid Central'. Stay in a central location and move comfortably around town while at night you will enjoy the silence and quietness of the area.
The Space: The building was recently built so everything is like brand new. The first thing to spot is the spacious and bright living room which has a wide lookout window and is equipped with a 43" HD Android TV, high speed internet connection (300Mbps optical fibre), A/C with heating mode, a large dining table with space for 4 people and a large sofa which will allow you to relax in good company. The apartment has 2 independent double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 1,35m wide bed with a brand new mattress, 2 bedside tables and a large built-in closet with plenty of space for 2 people's belongings; the other bedroom also has a 1,35m wide bed with a brand new mattress and a double built-in closet. The area where the apartment is located is very calm and quiet so silence and relax during the night are assured. The apartment has 2 full bathrooms: the first one is located en suite with private access from the master bedroom and it is equipped with a shower cabin, toilet, basin, cupboard and electric radiator. The other bathroom is larger, located next to the hall and equipped with a bath tub, toilet, basin, cupboard and electric radiator. The parking spot is large and easy to access, so it can fit almost any size of car; the lift connects the garage and the apartment directly so it provides extra convenience if you're carrying luggage and it's raining outside. The kitchen has a was a dishwasher, a washing machine and is equipped with everything you need to cook during your stay, as well as some complimentary basics such as oil, salt, coffee, sugar, etc.
Guest Access: The apartment is not rented by rooms, so guests will enjoy the entire apartment exclusively for their own during their stay. The only shared space is the garage, which is shared with all the neighbours in the building. Everyone has an allocated parking spot, so you will always have a spot available for you.
The Neighborhood: The area where the apartment is located is a very quiet and peaceful residential vicinity, perfect if you are looking forward to rest and relax during your stay, as there are very few businesses in the adjacent streets and traffic level is fairly low, hence silence and rest are totally guaranteed. But, despite being a quiet area, you are still in the city center so just a short walk away you can get some action. The Santiago Bernabéu area is just a 20 minute walk away and it offers a very wide range of leisure options: shopping malls, restaurants, bars, pubs, etc. Nearer, there are the Bravo Murillo e Infanta Mercedes streets, where you can finde multiple dining options - check out the apartment's guide for further info. If you'd like to go for walk and enjoy nature, very close to the apartment you can find the Dehesa de la Villa forest and the Agustín Rodríguez Sahagún park, which offers public sports facilities and several children playgrounds. Very close to the apartment there is a Repsol 24h petrol station, several supermarkets within a 5 minute radius, convenience stores and pharmacies.
Getting Around: Being in the center of Madrid means enjoying excellent connections and the ideal location of the apartment allows you to get here quite easily, park in your designated parking spot in the building's private garage, and forget about it during your stay as you will not miss it. Several bus lines stop nearby and there are two different underground stations: Francos Rodríguez (line 7) 7 minutes away and Estrecho (line 1) 9 minutes away on foot; the latter will take you directly to Gran Vía or Sol in just 15 minutes. Of course Uber and Cabify operate in the city and you can use the same account you use back home. You can also use one of the multiple car-sharing (Car2go, eMov, Zity, Wible) or moto-sharing (Acciona, eCooltra, Moving) companies that operate in Madrid and forget about paying for parking on the street. Lastly, if you're more into bicycles, you can find a Bicimad station at San Germán street, 10 minutes away from the apartment.
Other Things to Note: The apartment is completely electric and eco-friendly as it is connected to the solar panels and batteries on the rooftop which save energy during the day. Hot water works thanks to an electric tank which, if emptied completely, only takes some 30 minutes to be working again. There is no gas installation in the apartment nor in the building, which is a safety enhancement itself.
