Excellent staff! Very friendly and ready to help as needed.Great location, close to the most landmarks of the city. The rooms where big enough and only the bathroom needed some updates but other than that it is a very nice Hotel. Will definitely return when possible.
Very convenient, with metro close and within walking distance from many areas such as Gran Via, Puerta del Sol, Cibeles, etc. Rooms have a very nice size, and the restrooms are clean and comfortable. Great staff.
Nothing special for a 4 star but has everything needed. I even had a single room with a terrace on a top floor - big surprise. Otherwise all very standard but even if you are used to luxury it is quite Ok to stay here for a business trip or a night over. And location is great.
The Hotel NH Madrid Lagasca is in the neighborhood of Salamanca which is the equivalent of Rodeo Drive of Los Angeles. The area is very ritzy with high end shops and restaurants. Perfect to walk and go window shopping. Aside of being in that excellent location, the hotel itself is excellent. The staff is extremely helpful and most speak English. Our room was really nice and comfortable. Two drawbacks the bathtub very high for seniors and they had no American new channels on their satellite TV. The breakfast buffet was so so good that it made me gain some weight (LOL). The NH chain really has quality hotels.
The hotel is very well located and offers excellent service and breakfast. The rooms are clean and well spec'd. Have never had a bad experience here as a business traveller. Easy access to up-market restaurants and shops. We could not find a better value for money hotel in Madrid.
Mine was a business trip, and since I do prefer to stay in Barrio Salamanca without having to spend an arm and a leg choose NH Lagasca, and what a nice surprise Check in was a breeze with very friendly staff. The location is perfect, close to many wonderful restaurants and bars and shopping , not to mention the companies I was visiting on Pasea de La Castellana and catching a taxi was only one block away The room was more than enough , very confortable with a very ample bathroom and the AC worked just fine !! Breakfast was also complete, with many options to choose from. Although the bar closes very early that is not a problem since if you want to grab something to eat and a quick bite, there are plenty of places to choose from within walking distance. In room Nespresso machine nice touch, and a free working WiFi in the entire hotel was perfect The price - quality is hard to beat with this hotel.
Great hotel , bar closes early, but a room with terrace is great. Madrid in September is like an extended summer holiday . The Salamanca part of town is vibrating with s lot of restaurants and chique people. 30 minutes from Barajas airport.
I usually stay at Paseo la Habana in Madrid, however as I was approaching the hotel, my car driver alerted me there was a big soccer game that same evening and traffic would be congested from 7pm to midnight. Not wanting to deal with this issue, I automatically changed my route to Barrio Salamanca where NH Lagasca is located. So glad I made this decision. Location is perfect, quiet neighbourhood, great restaurants, shopping, supermarkets, Retiro park within walking distance, etc. Rooms/bathrooms are perfect size and spotless. This will be my hotel in Madrid always.
This is one of my favorite hotel in Barrio de Salamanca. For an ok price you get to be in the center of the most fashion quarter of Madrid. Multiple restaurants, stores, bars to live the vibe of this vibrant and elegant side of Madrid
Spent there 4 days in August, here are pros & cons: Pros: renovated rooms, quiet area, great location, good air conditioning ( important in the Madrid August heat) Cons: cleaning & maintenance, there were crumbs on the armchair from the former guest on day 1, it was not cleaned on day 2 either, and so on.... besides that everything was good
