I’d like to share what happened during our stay. The manager really tried her best to help and was kind, even involving her family to assist. Unfortunately, the person at the front desk who arrived later was not friendly. My wife's bed was covered with long black hairs, and when I mentioned it, he said no one could help and that he couldn't leave the front desk. I asked if I could at least get some clean sheets.
Then I got locked out of my room, which had my medication inside. This made us late visiting my grandmother in the nursing home—we had to wait for the manager to come from Greenville, Kentucky to resolve the issue with her son’s help. They ended up switching our rooms.
The new room for my wife smelled like mildew. There were blood stains on the mattress and a large old stain underneath it, which looked like dried urine—possibly the source of the smell. The floor in my room was sticky and unpleasant.
I couldn’t sleep because the door connecting to the neighboring room wasn’t soundproof. We heard people partying loudly all night. My room was also next to the stairwell, so every time someone went up or down the steps, my bed vibrated and shook.
There were no screens on the windows, and one of the windows was left open, so bugs had gotten inside.
