"This motel is extremely rustic -- log walls, low ceilings, no insulation. The exterior maintenance is not great. The room I had was very small (just a little bigger than the queen bed) and had no heat. Staff brought me a space heater on request. The bathroom is about the same size as an airplane restroom. The curtains were ragged and difficult to open and close and weren't even the same length from left to right. This was one of the most "spare" motels I've ever stayed in, and the price should have been about $90 per night (it was $159). There are few options in Ennis and I chose this as having an attached restaurant and better ratings than the competition."
