My wife and I were desperate for a short but relaxing getaway and discovered this beautiful gem of a hotel in a small corner of Connecticut. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant and polite - Pattie checked us in and Meghan checked us out - a true pleasure to deal with. The room was clean, modern, equipped with all said amenities and a gorgeous large (ever so romantic) bathroom. Lastly, and no less important, the view from our porch of the Long Island Sound was absolutely gorgeous and incredibly relaxing. All in all a beautiful stay. Kudos to Madison Beach Resort for an excellent vacation spot!

We arrived in need of rest and relaxation after the wedding of our daughter a few days before. The ambience suited us perfectly. This is a lovely small hotel with unhurried atmosphere, a very good restaurant, and a very comfortable room. The small beach and harbor provided us with appealing views from our balcony and from the hotel lobby and restaurant. Great for strolling too! The nearby town of Madison has nice shops and cafes. All in all it was a really nice experience for our short getaway.

When I arrived, from valet to front desk, the staff was friendly. My room was comfortable, with a perfect view to the beach. There was a shared balcony that I would have enjoyed had it not been raining the time I was there; even so, the sound of the waves was perfectly relaxing! Although I stayed in my room and didn't use the facilities, I will ABSOLUTELY be returning...hopefully when I can sit outside and enjoy the sunlight!

Overall a really nice place for the price at this time of year. If you are picky about details you might get annoyed. But if not, when something is amiss you can call and get it fixed or get help. Except for one time...it had to do with a light. The staff was nice and the food was very good too. My sister and I were there for a getaway. The weather didn't cooperate which is no one's fault. We still had a good time sitting by the fire, working out, and getting a massage. I bet in the summer this place is rocking.

This charming hotel is U-shaped so that each room faces the water. Hearing the soft 'woosh' of waves washing up on the beach, and rising to the sun streaming into the windows is pleasant and relaxing. The rooms are large - modern - and have great amenities, like a bathtub and a shower. (After Hurricane Irene, they did extensive renovations.) Great place - and the price was reasonable in the wintertime.

Madison Beach Hotel in Madison , CT was a perfect romantic night out along the beach, what a beautiful night under the stars. My room was clean , huge and had everthing I needed. I soaked in an oversized tub then provided by the hotel was a soft bath robe that I used as I sat out on the balcony watching the waves roll in. The hotel was easy to find off 95N.

We had to adjust the length of our stay due to a funeral. They did not accommodate. The telephone started beeping at 1 am. We unplugged it and it stopped. Plugged it in and it started again. At breakfast, the tables were not thoroughly clean. Then I ordered scrambled egg whites and got 3 eggs sunny side up. They did take it off the bill. We've stayed at this hotel in the past, but may not in the future.

Booked Madison Beach Hotel last minute to surprise my husband with a birthday getaway. We arrived after enjoying wine tasting at nearby Chamard Vineyards. The entire property is just lovely and the staff was helpful, friendly and attentive. You can't ask for a better view and location on the beach. The room was impeccable with every attention to detail covered. My only suggestion would be to improve the sound insulation to the room door; you could clearly hear conversations in the hallway and the housekeeping vacuum (that started before 8am).
