The Bay View is a lovely apartment located in the centre of Funchal. Its close proximity to the centre (10-15 minute walk), and all major motorways, make this the ideal place to holiday in. It has 3 bedrooms: 1 double room and 2 twin rooms, 2 bathrooms (1 with a bath tub, the other with a shower) and 1 guest toilet, a living/dinning area, fully equipped kitchen and laundry, and a great balcony overlooking the pool, with a view of Funchal´s bay as well as the mountains. Wonderful stay!

We spent two weeks at the Bayview and it was wonderful! Plenty of space for everyone (4 adults & 2 kids) - the apartment was clean and well-maintained, the pool and hot tub enjoyable and the rental comes with two cars spots in the garage. Zero problems with the wifi. Our favorite place to eat and relax was on the patio with a great view of Funchal and the mountains. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the port, although be warned it’s quite uphill. We often took a taxi back at the end of the day (only about 5 €)

Apartment was very spacious with a fantastic outdoor area. The view was wonderful. Very comfortable beds. Everything needed is in the apartment. Very quiet and peaceful.

Appartement neuf, très bien équipé, très agréable et avec une très belle vue sur la Baie de Funchal

Appartement très agréable, nous y avons passé une très belle semaine en famille. Nous avons pris tous les jours le petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse, c'était génial. La cuisine est entièrement équipée, grand réfrigérateur, Nespresso, grille-pain, bouilloire, lave-vaisselle, lave-linge, table à repasser, tout est là. En revanche, le wi-fi et la télévision ne fonctionnaient pas les 3 derniers jours. De plus, la résidence est encore un peu en travaux, c'est la raison pour laquelle la piscine intérieure et la salle de sport n'étaient pas disponibles la semaine où nous y étions... C'est dommage, d'autant que la piscine extérieure est certes jolie mais l'eau y est vraiment gelée. Autrement, l'emplacement est idéal pour partir à la découverte de Madère en voiture, ou sinon on peut marcher et rejoindre le centre-ville à pied en 10 minutes. Il y a d'ailleurs un centre commercial avec un magasin d'alimentation où faire ses courses à 5 minutes à pied de l'appartement. Globalement, nous avons passé une excellente semaine !
