After the check-out, I feft luggages at the reception saying that I would have been back at midday to take them back. When I came back, the door of the hotel was closed. The reception was closed. Neither out of the hotel or on the website there were some closure times. I tried to contact the hotel but NOONE REPLIED. I called the security and THEY HAD NO KEYS. I WAS LOCKED OUTSIDE FOR 2 HOURS AND OF COURSE I LOST MY TRAIN BACK TO MY CITY. When FINALLY the receptionist arrived, we asked for a reimbursment of the train ticket that we lost, but he didn't want to talk with us. He told that HE DOESN'T CARE. CRAZY. I PAID FOR A SERVICE AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. Just don't go there. Lyon is full of better hotels. Stay away.

The service provided by the hotel is really not professional and ethical. Hotel & hospitality management is somthing which should be knownwith at most down to earth services that is ( guest should be treated like god) but here it's really pathetic even after giving promising service by the receptionist.

+ve: Outside area with play ground full of local kids every day, and supermarket. Also the best pizza in Lyon for take away is just 5' walk. The metro station outside the property(lifts for buggy), but not direct line to centre. Big flat with two double beds in two rooms. One bed was a sofa-bed. Fully equiped kitchen with micro wave coffee machine etc. Third floor with some views over a construction site and far views of Lyon. Full length windows double glazed would block the street and construction noise if kept closed. Full lenghth courtins able to block the light out in the morning. Very good free internet. Very secure parking (two electric doors to get in + CCTV) I found reception guys very helpful and polite. The best selling point is obviously the budget price for a big flat right next to metro. -ve: Ethnic area undergoing some developent, a few construction sites around and the one next to this property starts works early in the morning and is LOUD! It was too hot to sleep with windows closed, therefore I was up when the builders would come to work! No aircondition (free standing fun). Tiny kitchen, for emergency or baby food. Better option to try the near by pizza take away. Parking costs 10€ a day. You need to clean the kitchen yourself.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in Lyon while studying at Institut Paul Bocuse in Écully. Good distance from Gorge de Loupé métro station and there's Maison Pozolli which is a great place to grab a few croissants or bread for breakfast. Casino supermarket is also located along Rue Louis Louchuer which closes at 17:00h or 18:00h. I can't recall what time it closes exactly. If all shops are closes by then, you can grab a few simple items at BP petrol kiosk just opposite the apartment. The appartment is clean with a small kitchen stoves and refrigerator. Cutleries and tablewares are provided. There's also a laundry room on the first floor.

A good and cheap place to stay, hotel staff could be better if they could speak more english. Security is very less and needs to be taken care of. Anyone one tailgate any other person. Location of this hotel is good as Gorge de Loup subway station is walkable. Also Rhone riverfront is very near.

I stayed here in the week of 13 June during the 2016 European Championships and was very happy with the accommodation. It was clean, well equipped and had plenty of space for three people (two in a twin room and one on a sofa bed). the hotel is a short walk from both the Valmy and Gorge de Loop metro stations so it was a great base to explore the city of Lyon. There is a good range of restaurants and shops within walking distance too.

Nice location, within 500 meters you have major bus and train stations. Great nearby neighbourhood. Would strongly recommend for another trip. Very supportive staff welcoming approach. Cannot do much about size of the kitchen, but for a small family its give-away.

Been there for a couple of times some years ago, indeed the quality decreased. A serious refresh, at least of the room 409 is needed indeed. Apparently, given the hotel age a renovation is required.Though personnel remains very kind and helpful.

I stayed in the Sejours&Affairs for two weeks because of my studies. The receptionists were unhelpfull, unfriendly and had a terrible disposition to help. The cleaning was also awfull. The price is not fair for the bad service they offer..

The place is really dirty and the staff unhelpful. You arrive at check in and they don't even tell you the basics about parking (where, how, especially how to get out which is like being in a maze), there is only 1 lift for the whole complex which is occupied mostly by cleaning crews even when they have to go down 1 floor. Breakfast is really non impressive. And.... hold to your seats, this is absurd! You have to take out your own rubbish and dispose of it yourself!!!! After you have paid a hansdome sum for a very basic room. And don't believe them when they say the room is for 4. It actually serves max 2, unless you are backpackers in which case they should clarify their statements of comfort. Really, avoid this hotel if you can.
