What I like about the hotel The location of this hotel is excellent. It is very close to restaurants, shops and many tourist attractions. The beds are comfortable. The front desk staffs were helpful. What i do not like about this hotel The price is too high comparing to room size and amenities. The window is very small and did not give enough light in a room. I was surprised that they had small paper cups and plastic cups for guests instead of ceramic cups. The room made me feel that the management gave the MINIMUM quality of everything for guest. In conclusion I do not think that I will choose this hotel next time

Spent one night here on way back from South of France. When I searched I requested parking on When we arrived it wasn't clear where the parking was so i went inside and it was explained that the car park was on the next street so we had to go and park and then walk back to the hotel and then the next day i paid for the parking (public car park) didnt really mind but defeats the object of asking for inclusive parking (main reason i chose the hotel). Staff were pleasant, room was small but clean. It was fine for a stopover but it didn't blow us away. On check out i was charged over 200 euros - some sort of pre authorisation which i thought was done at check in? anyway like i say it was fine for a stop over but with so much choice i will chose a different hotel next time i am in Lyon.

Just perfect for us We stayed for 2 nights and the hotel was great. New rooms like a boutiq room Its a small hotel that is perfect for tralvel in the city. Perfect location!!! Reccommed take Bicycle near the hotel

To be fair, I don't think it was intentional. The toilet was smaller than one you'd find in a caravan and clearly when one gentleman had stood up, it looks like he caught his old fella on the wall, shame someone hadn't cleaned it up. Comfortable double bed, but you'd have to be very tolerant of your partner to survive more than a couple of nights together. Worth noting that Accor/Mercure sent two requests for a review, for different sites, this is the second.

Located in the heart of Lyon,in between the Rhone and Saone. Low price for a four star hotel on a top location. All 'must see' attractions are at walking distance. Hotel bar is not open on Saturday and Sunday night, but with over 800 bars and restos in Lyon centre, I did not really mind..

The location is great. The hotel is very clean. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was good. The clerk at the front desk arranged a taxi for us. The rooms are very small, too small. There is a nice lobby bar. There are lots of restaurants nearby.

We chose this hotel mainly because of its location, and were pleased to have done so. We initially got a little lost setting off from Part-Dieu station, but – once we identified where we actually were on a map – it was an easy walk down Rue Servient to Pont Wilson. It took us 32 minutes to the hotel at an easy pace, pulling cases. Hint: leave Part-Dieu by the main entrance (NOT via the bus station entrance, which is where the Rhone Express train arrives from the airport). Check maps posted at public transport stops just to be sure, but Rue Servient runs at right-angles to the main station entrance, and slightly to the right as you emerge from the station. We had asked for a quiet room on an upper floor, and were given one on floor 6. The room was one of the quietest we’ve ever had, which was really good. In fact – and we didn’t realise this until later – the room was actually described in our booking as “soundproof”, and I think that’s a fair description. We didn’t even hear water flowing from adjacent bathrooms, which is often a problem in hotels. The room seemed to have been recently renovated, was clean, and was well-serviced each day – so a thank you to the cleaning staff! On the downside, our standard double room was the smallest we’ve had (with the possible exception of one in Hong Kong, where many rooms are like rabbit hutches). Only one person could be in the bathroom at a time, and even that required a gracefully-executed pirouette around a half-open door. Difficult for portly figures, I imagine. A few other minor niggles: very limited storage space, such as drawers. Only 3 coat hangers were provided (for a double room). Only one bottle of water was provided in the room on arrival (for a double room …) and was not replenished at all during our 7-night stay. But the positives outweighed this: the buffet breakfast was very good. Even the scrambled eggs looked and tasted more like eggs than they often do in hotels. The staff on duty in the breakfast area were friendly and discreetly efficient: when guests vacated a table, staff cleaned up debris very quickly, taking care to wet-wipe not only table surfaces, but also the table sides and the chairs – real attention to detail, so a thank you to them too! We lingered over breakfast most mornings … The proximity of the hotel to local attractions was great. Over the course of our stay, we didn’t use public transport – we just walked to everything, covering Croix Rousse, Fourviere, Vieux Lyon, the Confluence, Parc de la Tete D’or and Presqu’ile. (But then we do like walking …). We even became friends with the receptionist who checked us in. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here, and would be happy to recommend it to friends.

We completed our 4 week drive tour of France with what we thought based on price was going to be a luxury 3 night stay at this hotel. I guess we were a little naive compared with the room rates and facilities experience in largely rural France during our previous 4 weeks. Our room, though small, which was not a surprise to us, was functional, and really only suitable for sleeping in. The beds were excellent, the temperature control perfect and the bathroom recently refurbished was lovely. The provision of plastic and paper cups for cold drinks and tea and coffee was a serious negative, despite the fact that we can appreciate the management's rationale for their use. The front desk staff were outstanding, and were of enormous assistance through translation in facilitating the return of our hire car.

We stayed here 2 nights. Arrived from Lyon airport direct to Part-Dieu train station on the Rhône Express (25€ per person for both ways, pre-purchased online). We took a cab from Part-Dieu to hotel which was 8€ for approx. a 10 min. ride. The hotel is wonderfully located, within walking distance of most attractions in Lyon and just a few blocks from restaurants, shopping, etc.. so the noise level at night was minimal. The room was ready when we arrived which was great. The staff was friendly. The room is indeed small, but well organized and very cozy. Everything was clean; linens crisp and sparkling white. Keep in mind that the sink, bath/shower are separate from the actual toilet water closet. The space is very limited. No balcony and the windows did not open. But the corner room offered a lot of light and plenty of windows. There was a closet to hang clothes, usb plug to charge your phone, a hairdryer and basis shampoo, shoe shine, body cream and vanity kit in bathroom. We did not try the breakfast as we preferred going out to have a coffee and some sort of pastry in the morning. There are a few just around the building. We enjoyed our stay here as it was just a little out of the 'busier' streets of Lyon but close to everything. Would definitely return and recommend this hotel. Wifi included and very fast.

We only had one night here but the bed was as hard as a rock, the pillows were awful. We were only given two small sachets of coffee and paper cups and plastic glasses which were also tiny. The location was good but was not a good start when there were four staff smoking outside and no one inside at reception to check us in
