The shuttle was punctual but the van could have been better marked to make it easier to find at the airport. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But the general condition of the hotel was very poor - the carpets and hallways were what one would expect to find in some flophouse and the towels were threadbare. Other than that, it was a good budget hotel.

My second stay during this trip in Lyon, I had a double room and the room was very well cleaned like the previous night but an air conditioner seemed broken ( I didn’t need it after all though ) and the room was close to a lift so was noisier than before. Some of front staff speak good English so it was easy to communicate. The shower is with bathtub and plenty of hot water but no amenities so bring your own shampoo if you need it.

I booked a twin room for one night and while the room itself was a bit tired and a lamp had no bulb, I felt it was cleaned well, and a air conditioner worked very very well it was a warm night so thanks for that! I had a 2pm train next day so the checkout time 12pm was a treat, overall it served my purpose perfectly, thanks a lot for this.

Twice emailed hotel to reserve a table for dinner on Saturday night, prior to my arrival. Never got the courtesy of a reply and upon arrival told restaurant closed at weekend's. Breakfast was poor and a waste of money. At 8.30am no meat or cheese available, had to ask. Toaster, but no bread to toast. Bowl for fruit or cereal was the size of a bowl for a baby. Breakfast selection was poor. Carpets in corridors on first floor filthy. I could go on but no point, nothing will change. Would recommend the Ibis opposite. Excellent meal.

Absolutely Disgusting – We Deserve a Full Refund This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The place was filthy — not just the room, but all the common areas as well. The bathroom was in unacceptable condition: dirty, smelly, and clearly not cleaned properly in a long time. The air conditioning didn’t work at all, making the room unbearable in the heat. On top of all this, the staff was completely incompetent, unhelpful, and seemed totally indifferent to the state of the hotel and the complaints we raised. It was so bad that we didn’t even stay the night — we walked out and found another place to stay. I am demanding a full refund, as this hotel did not provide even the minimum standards of cleanliness, comfort, or service. No one should have to deal with such conditions. Avoid this place at all costs.

Shuttle only runs at certain hours

Serviceable. Shuttle took us from the airport to the hotel, which was great. Shuttle only available at certain times of day, stops at 8:40 am, which was a couple of hours before our flight. The whole reason I booked this hotel was for the shuttle service, so that was irritating. 20 minute flat walk to airport well marked, but I would have liked to avoid it.

Run-down hotel

Very old hotel. It needs major renovation. The only positive aspect was the firm mattress. The so called AC emitted warm air even after proper setting was done. Creeping lighting in the hallway.
