This is a huge home and grounds. It is all very beautiful and the owner was extremely gracious. We really enjoyed our stay.
It's a lovely home, very quirky and comfortable. It was in great condition considering the age. The hosts were great.
While we enjoyed the quaint experience the Maple Room has some impractical aspects (e.g., spiral staircase not easy to navigate with suitcases, no shower and spray handle in tub was not functioning). Seems like the areas around the Maple room and the room/bathroom itself could use a good fall cleaning and new bath linens. Was also disappointed the garden was overgrown and needed some TLC.
The Inn is beautiful and quaint. As with any older home, it is very difficult to keep up with all that needs fixing. Items we noticed were ONLY cosmetic. Everything worked well and it was a pleasant time.
Nice property, tastefully decorated & very friendly owner. Would have liked to know that room we picked was not en suite, while the bathroom was private, it was next door to the room & a grab bar the tub would have been a great asset.
I seemed to be the only guest for my mid-week stay. But it was most comfortable and restful. I would like to stay here again.

HI Sue, Thank you for your feedback and i'll definitely address the areas around the stairs - it is a funny configuration for sure but we do try to put as much information about this room as possible in description. Staircase and tub only being key. Appreciate as well your notes on the hand-held shower sprayer - i will check that immediately. Thank you for staying with us.

Thank you Virginia. We will consider the grab bar. Apologies if the bathroom adjacent was not clearly communicated on Orbitz - but it is referenced on our website. Some of the online agencies do not carry over all the room information. Would love for you to visit again and try another room.
