Our stay was fantastic the second we walked through the doors. We were greeted by the staff who were more than helpful and kind. The fireplace was on along with some soft music creating a beautiful ambiance in the lobby- the chairs were very pretty and cozy. Our room was what I would call a crisp clean where it seemed immaculate. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a great size with a wonderful bathroom. I cannot wait to stay at this property again.

This is an all around GREAT hotel. The hotel is located just off the main highway and is convenient to the historic area, eating and shopping areas. It was a quick 25 minute drive to Lynchburg. All staff - from the front desk to housekeeping and breakfast prep - were very professional and welcoming. The lobby was clean as were the rooms. The twin queen room had a large mini fridge, safe & microwave. The bathroom feature a glassed in shower and sliding door which added to the overall open feel of the room. The outdoor pool was well kept with handicap accessibility. There was seating around the pool as well as in a separate patio area with more tables and chairs. The small gym and laundry room were located conveniently by the pool. There is a bar in the lobby that features beer, wine and a limited list of food items. We tried the BBQ sliders with chips and cole slaw on the side and chips and salsa. The portion sizes were very good and both were good values for the price. The morning breakfast bar was well stocked and fresh. There were hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cream cheese and jellies in a glass refrigerator case, sausage links & patties, poached eggs, potatoes, biscuits and tasty sausage gravy. The bar also had 4 types of cereal, fresh break, bagels & pastries and assorted juices, coffees & teas. Checkin and checkout was efficient. While I don't foresee visiting the area often, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who did. A+++
Coffee always cold except during breakfast. Hardline against smokers and pets. Minimal tv. Clean but basic rooms. No taxi service near by. Limited delivery options. No restaurants in close proximity. Local water taste awful.
The hotel is right next to Rt. 460 which is very quiet with food options nearby. This hotel is brand new with very comfy beds, modern amenities, and high quality toiletries. The Wi-Fi signal is strong and there were no drops or outages.
Excellent location and facilities. The Hotel is right up the same road (about 3 miles) from Historic Appomatox Court House/ Civil War Park. The park is the original town of Appomattox (before the railroad caused the town to relocate to current location) and the Hotel is on the edge of the current downtown location. Enjoyed being only a couple minutes away from several dining options. Local Pizza Hut is a minute away and this location, staff and the pizza was really good. Hotel has a outdoor pool and is clean and well maintained. I really enjoyed this hotel. Very good hot and cold breakfast. Pretty good coffee.
Checking in with the guy at the front desk was excellent but checking out with the lady she was not very friendly
