The office was closed. We needed to call a phone number for a code to a key box to access a room key. On check out day no one was in the office, so we had to leave the keys in a drop off slot. The room seemed newly renovated and decorated, and was mostly very clean. It smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke though. The bathroom vent/light fixture was black with dirt.

Never had contact with staff. This facility is clean and easy to get to. My only suggestion, they need new mattress, our back is killing us!! Nice outdoor pavilion to sit and bbq.

Our stay was very comfortable. The suite was nicely decorated and clean. There is no breakfast at this motel, which was not a problem. I say motel because the rooms are accessed from the outside of the building. It was exactly what we needed and was well priced. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

The kitchenette was nice and we appreciated the ability to cook simple meals, make coffee with Keurig and wash dishes. Water for showering was nice and hot, the room was pleasant and the air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfortable and everything was neat and clean - great place to stay for us as a couple!

Clean room except for a hair found in the bathtub. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, dish soap, paper towels, and a drying rack. However, the round microwave plate does not rotate, so things were heated unevenly. There was no WiFi; however, there were a ton of channels to watch on the tv. A couple of the window blinds didn’t lay flat when closed, so I had to place items on the windowsill to ensure no one could peak through into the room from the outside. The area seemed safe, but at one point around midnight, there were other guests next door hanging out and having loud conversations outside. There were times where I arrived back at the hotel around 1:30AM, and people were hanging outside on the bench and/or the picnic area. I couldn’t help but be concerned and extra cautious as a young woman traveling by myself. Overall, great, affordable stay. I would book here again.

We reserved a room months in advance only to arrive and be told by Jessica that she did not have our reservation and we were out of luck. Given that this was a very busy weekend in Lynchburg, we then became victims of price gouging, or as business people say supply and demand. We had not budget the extra $800 that we had to pay for our trip to Lynchburg. Planning ahead only works if you reserve a room at a place that honors your reservation. Sadly, the communication was poor and the issue of not keeping our reservation, lies squarely on Affordable Suites of Lynchburg.
