I visited the hotel fro 6th to 8th May 2018. The staff especially Islam and Mustafa were generous and cordial. Seeing I was tired they offered an early check in. The rooms were great with a courtyard view. There is a travel desk that takes care of your needs. The poolside view is gorgeous. The boatman I travelled with Arafat was wonderful and made me mint tea. Overall I was made to feel very special. Will definitely come back again.

This was the second Time for me to stay here and I’ve to say that the staff were excellent specially Hamdy at the Italian restaurant are very friendly and helpful, highly recommend and I’d definitely stay here again in my next trip to Luxor ⭐️✨

This was my 4th stay at the Nile Palace, and it didn't disappoint. The hotel is in a great location, with wonderful views of the Nile, and a selection of great restaurants - the Lebanese restaurant is particularly good. There was entertainment every night - a dervish, belly dancer and a great little dance troupe. The service was outstanding, and all staff unfailingly helpful - will most definitely be back

Once again had a lovely holiday here, the staff are brilliant, we had a little problem and they went above and beyond to rectify the situation. With a special mention to Amina the guest relation lady who couldnt do enough. Everyone is helpful and friendly and you are made to feel really welcome.

My husband and I were traveling with a small alumni group and spent one night at the Steigenberger in Luxor. Rooms and the view patios were beautiful. But our room appeared not to have been occupied in months and the shower diverter didn't work (there were parts -- nuts and bolts -- on the bottom of the bath tub) so wild water spray went all over when a shower was attempted. The front desk was very accommodating and offered immediately to move us to another room, but this was our only afternoon off and we asked them to please fix it while we were at dinner for the night, which they did. Egypt is just now getting US tourists coming back and the hotels are still working to bring their rooms back up to standard. We would return to this hotel. They're just still working it out.

We read every possible review of all hotels in Luxor and decided on the Steigenberger. What an excellent choice. Everything about this hotel is absolutely first rate and not just for Egypt. The landscaping all the way down to the Nile is well thought out and just perfect, especially when compared to neighboring hotels. Everything else was 10/10 with the huge buffet breakfast with so many choices as to be almost overwhelming. We opted for a room with a partial Nile view. Slightly more $ but with a superb view of the pool and the Nile. Room service is fast, excellent and reasonable. Lush vegetation is perfect for finding a chair by the pool and relaxing with a book or drink. The Steigenberger is a German hotel chain and they achieve perfection in about all areas. The WiFi was the only thing slow but this was encountered everywhere in Egypt. After a busy day in Luxor, it was a pleasure to come back "home" to relax. The Steigenberger has a superb staff with perfect manners but without the possum smiles encountered at many other high end hotels.

We had only one night at the Steinberger Nile Palace after disembarking from our Nile cruise ship, but I wish it had been a week! The hotel fronts on a busy street in Luxor, the whole entire back side faces the Nile and the distant cliffs on the west bank. The lobby is grand, and leads into an open atrium lined with restaurants and shops. There is a show every night with belly dancing, modern dervishes, and "traditional" dances under the stars, with food and drinks delivered to your table. Our room was on the eighth floor, and had a large veranda with a beautiful view over the patio and pool area, and the Nile below. The room itself was large and immaculate, if a bit dated with its mid-century furnishings. We had a lovely breakfast buffet in the Nubian restaurant, and would have loved to try it for dinner if we had time. The pool area was beautiful, and it was big enough for a great swim on a hot afternoon. We did not have a chance to try all that the hotel had to offer - like dinner sails on a felluca - but I loved all that I had time to sample!

We’ve just returned from 3 weeks stay in the hotel. This was our second visit and as before all the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was really good as were the waiters, we visited the Italian restaurant a few times and each time had lovely meals and superb service. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and sunbathing terrace - all the staff around the pool could not have been more helpful. A special mention must go to (Mrs Fixit) Amina - nothing was too much trouble for her. Our Deluxe Nile view room was very spacious and comfortable but in need of updating, which we have been informed will take place before our next next visit which we have booked for November. .

Although of bad Weather this Time in City but The Hotel is Worse. Room is very Basic not compared to any other Branch of Steigenberger, No Water, No Minibar, No Tea or Coffee inside the Room unless you pay first although there is a Boiler 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ I asked for an Ashtray & till now after 3 Days never arrived yet 😏😏 No Information mentioned during CK IN with Hotel Facilities & its Value This wasn’t only my Opinion I & My Colleagues called it ( The Hotel of Thirst ) as no Water 💦 found in any Place unless you Pay 💰 Money is more Important not you my Dear

This hotel was just ok for me but I gave it 4 star because the food from their Italian Restaurant is absolutely delicious. I normally don't eat hotel food but made the exception here for a starving 13 year old. The Risotto Entre is to die for. On the downsize, the free wifi in the common areas is very bad so you are forced to pay for it which is $5.00 US a day. Staff not too friendly. The rooms are spacious and nice balcony views of the courtyard. A little updating of rooms would be plus. I would stay at this hotel again.
