1. Run down and outdated accommodations. Bed made funny noises when moving on them. 2. Wifi was very spotty. Had to go in the lobby or the reception area to work. Big reception area. Careful as some cushions had gum stuck to it. 3. Hot water was spotty. Tip:. Put water pressure on low to have continuous hot water. 4. Dirt stains in the shower walls and tub, with dirty showers curtains. The hooks on the shower curtains weren't placed right,. Had to fix it to take a shower. 5. 2 small towels were provided, with no other bathroom amenities. 6. 2 twin beds were in the room, with a balcony. The screen door fell, when we first opened it. The patio door didn't lock. 7. Area is very busy and noisy. Great area to walk around and explore. Not so much, for sleeping, as lots of the noise can be heard in the room. 8. Front desk/reception spoke limited to no English. 9. Felt somewhat safe in the room. Opted for not getting it cleaned. 10. Pool and hot tub drained of water. Missed opportunity, as it had a beautiful view. Lawn chairs, along with table and chairs, would of been great to chill out and relax.

Kindest and most helpful staff you'll meet!

The staff are absolutely wonderful! Very attentive and very eager to please. They even helped me when I was being conned and harassed by a local taxi driver, and for that I am eternally grateful. The hotel is reasonably clean and tidy.

Solides Haus

Wer dieses Hotel bucht, bekommt ein solides Hotel zu einem günstigen Preis mit gutem Service ohne große Specials. Unser Zimmer war ziemlich groß, gut gepflegt und sauber. Badezimmer und Ausstattung ließen keinen Grund zur Beanstandung zu. Es ist keine 5* Hotel, aber für den Preis auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Das Frühstück ist etwas spartanisch und durch die Lage des "Restaurants" im Hotelkeller etwas ungünstig, aber man kann in Luxor auch so recht gut essen. Schön ist der Pool auf dem Dach, hier kann man in Ruhe entspannen. Für Individualtouristen, die eine Homebase zur Erkundung der Stadt wollen, die ideale Wahl. Entfernung zum Hauptbahnhof (für die Bahnfahrer) ist 2,5 Kilometer. Das Hotel liegt zwischen dem "Kurnish", der Uferstraße, an der auch andere Hotels liegen und dem eher arabischen, weniger touristischen Teil der Stadt, wo man relativ preiswert einkaufen und essen kann. In der Straße befindet sich zudem ein sehr guter und preisgünstiger Supermarkt, Die im Hotel buchbare Tour auf die Westbank (Tal der Könige etc.=) ist sehr gut und zu empfehlen.
