The hotel itself is fine. The outside area of the hotel is not walkable.

It’s very pretty and safe with security check points.

We had overall a good experience in this hotel. We felt safe, staff was very helpful welcoming and accommodating; they upgraded our room for a small fee and gave us the option to pick something better. The hotel room has a bit of a dated feel but we appreciated the comfortable beds.

The Hilton resort in Luxor, Egypt is so calm placid beautiful in multiple parts and is served by a large number of super lovely elegant intelligent professional people. The design of the hotel is superb, it leaves you open to experiencing the West Bank across and Egypt’s natural beauty. They picked a smart location to build the place. It’s an expensive resort affordable due to location. If you’re exhausted from travel or intensity of Cairo, it’s a great place to decompress, enjoy pools, spa, food, beauty and service. I stayed, as well, on the west side and highly recommend finding the right place to stay for you on the west side, as well. Major archaeological sites and points of interest are on the west side. You can take a ferry across daily, if you wish. It’s not hard by foot. Bridges are many miles south and north of Luxor, if you’re dealing with a vehicle. You’ll have to think that out. I would split my time on the east bank and then west, whatever number of days, depending on what you plan on seeing and for how long. The people, life, donkeys and roosters in the morning, horses and smell of food and fire, the sounds of it’s and nature and sight of green pastures are all better on the West Bank. It’s a bustling town on the east bank, it’s a quiet town/village on the West Bank. Still, the Hilton resort is the perfect place to decompress, give yourself a few spoonfuls of peaceful luxury when you’re staying on the east bank and in Luxor.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It is beautiful, clean and very well kept. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The view by the pool is incredible, we really enjoyed the amenities in our stay. The food in the breakfast and dinner buffet is varied and abundant, you get to try different authentic Egyptian or international dishes and have many alternatives to choose from. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone spending time in Luxor.

I travel a lot and I STRONGLY recommend anyone traveling to Luxor to stay at this resort. I have nothing bad to say. Everything was wonderful, the staff, the amenities, the picturesque view of the Valley of the Kings, especially at night; the service we received; the pool and outdoor area; the spa--you name it. It was magnificent.

Utterly disorganized and disappointing. We paid for an extra day after our flight was changed from the night before to the morning after and communicated this with the hotel so we could check in upon arrival and not wait until 2pm. Nonetheless they somehow lost our pre-paid reservation because they printed it instead of having digital records at a 5-star Hilton. No welcome drink offered once they found our paperwork (as advertised) and they first put us in a double-double instead of the king we had booked (they offer specific choices and not ‘as available’ online, so this was indeed part of our reservation), but eventually ‘upgraded’ us to a king room. The halls and rooms were dirty appearing not to be vacuumed for some time and the food in their one open restaurant (Olives, after the breakfast buffet) was mediocre to unpleasant. That said the views of the Nile were unmatched and the Valley of the Kings was directly across from us and lit up at night. The staff after check-in were polite (although unhelpful and evasive they did so with a smile), the beds are comfortable, the showers work, and the security was top-notch. Overall, there are better, less expensive options available locally and we cannot subjectively recommend or refuse the Hilton Luxor.

Beautiful hotel right on the Nile River. I highly recommend it.

It was on the Nile , very quiet, excellent service. They had some renovation going on but not disruptive. Signage for services could be better.

Exceptional resort! The facility, friendliness, and professionalism of staff is unparalleled. Love the location and the view of the river Nile from the entire facility.

My wife and I were treated like royalty. Great job folks, we are so happy with our stay!

Long wait for check in, room had issues, told garden view got garbage view, not happy with check in at all

Overall stay was good. Great and beautiful location. The service in the restaurants on site were not good - they were understaffed and not able to be attentive.
