Very good, clean hotel with nice people inside. Cheap ,I would like to reccomand for everybody. If You are looking for not expensive hotel near the city center - thats a very good option. Also nice disco with alcohol inside
Gaddis Hotel is an amazing spot for a solo traveler and even more suited for family or friends. The bar is great with even better bartenders, the food is amazing and you really do feel at home :) . I would recommend this to anyone and everyone, you will NOT regret your stay. The staff is very helpful and hospitable, while the location allows for easy access to the city! Enjoy your stay :)
The hotel was clean, friendly staff, good wi-fi, nice pool, hot shower, and a lot of different shops next to the hotel. In general a great experience. Would highly recommend to everyone who comes to Luxor.
On a preporetion tour to historic Egypt I've stayed at this lovely hotel. I recommend this hotel because it's very near by the nile river and next to the city center. The room with air conditioning and hot water at the shower. Olso they have a pool. I recommend this hotel. Rambo Trips
I stayed 2 nights here. The room was decent but what i did not like was they charged me 80 egytpian pounds for a Vegetarian meal..and they charge 50 pounds which i came to know the next day. I told this to manager Honey. to which Honey said fish and chips are for 50 pounds what u had was for 80 pounda only. This left a bad after taste..But hotel is good for budget travellers
It is with sadness that my review of this hotel is worse than poor. It is very run down and very dirty. At no point during our stay were the rooms cleaned or bed linen changed. We had to purchase our own bathroom cleaner to remove excrement from the toilet seat and surrounding tiles. The pool was totally unusable due to the dirt and floating cigarette butts. The food served to us tasted of paraffin and the vegetarian breakfast comprised of cheese , sliced meat and stale flat breads. Apparently this hotel was beautiful in its heyday unfortunately that was 20 years ago. Would not recommend to anyone.
Our travel agent arranged us to stay in this hotel (3-star hotel) for our last night of Egypt trip. Environment : The part of frontage of hotel has the cover. I can't remember what is it made from maybe it is paper's cover. They left some small door to use. In addition, they switch off the light in the morning and afternoon in the lobby. The hotel look like haunted house. Room: the first room that we got had no hot water and broken telephone. So, we changed to the new room. The new room was very dirty. Lots of dust on the floor. Moreover, there is something that I can't identify on the bed. I think it is egg shell or something look disgusting. Bad hotel ever!!! No air-condition No heater Weak wifi in the room. In the bathroom, there are hot/cold water and soap, but no towel. Toilet seat cover has gone. Staff: Staff was unhelpful and not friendly. When we asked the information for helping us to hiring the taxi, they said that "I can help you everything inside hotel, but I don't know anything outside the hotel". If you walk-in to the hotel, you can get the cheaper price. It costs only 140 le. not 23 usd. Location : 2 km far from downtown Luxor, KFC and bank is near the hotel. Breakfast : Breakfast is included in the room. There are boils egg, plain nan, jam, cheese, beef ham, bean, tea and coffee. It is new experience of us to eat breakfast with birds in the building. They open all the door. Then birds came in.
As I said.. This hotel is the worst hotel I have stayed in my life. I stayed only 1 night in Luxor with my friends and We were booked in this hotel by our travel agency. They didn't tell us before what hotel we would be put in. They only said it is a 3 stars hotel, but there is nothing to be certified as 3 stars. It was very dark at the lobby. Wifi cant be reach even at the lobby. I got the room on the 4th floor. When we went into the room, it is extremly disgusting with dust on the bed (seems like they didn't clean it) I am not sure whether they change the bed sheet or not. Telephone didn't work as well as the hot water, so I asked them to change the room. I got the new room which was on 3rd floor. As same as the one before, room was very dirty. Luckily the hot water worked, but other things were broken. Breakfast was very bad. The only thing I can eat was boiled egg. This hotel need a renovation or at least maintenance. Hotel condition is very bad. always ready to be shut down! There are many nice hotels nearby with the same price or just a bit more. Please don's stay here.
We, a group of friends, spent a night in Luxor at this terrible hotel. It was included in our package tour "Aswan-Luxor". We did not have a chance to pick a hotel. We were only told that we'd stay at a 3-star hotel. It seemed okay to us; however, it was a nightmare. There's a sign at the reception that this hotel was qualified as a 3-star hotel but everything we found did not tell that. The hotel was probably nice 20 years ago but it lacked of maintenance. Every single thing in our rooms were broken from light, shower, hot water, faucet, bathroom door. There were no towels or bath mats. The rooms did not keep us warm so we had to wear sweaters and a down jacket when sleeping. The hotel staff were helpless. We just asked for a taxi but the answer made us upset. "We know nothing about outside our hotel" The night-shift reception was nice but he could not speak English.
It was booked through a tour for 2 nights, I had a good experience, they helped me with wifi problems and also pre packed some breakfast for me. It's close enough to some nice places to eat in Luxor, not sure if the kitchen is still running at evening time.
