This hotel is centrally situated with onsite parking. The room met expectations and the staff were friendly. Within easy walking distance are the town centre, the 'beach' and other sights. Certainly happy to use this hotel again ........
Service: Friendly staff Room: Bed okay, cleaning was okay. They had shower gel combined with shampoo. Extra: Swimming pool but it was extremely cold. I think it was around 16 degrees C. Breakfast: Lot of different stuff, they also had a fridge with gluten free and lactose free products. Big plus
Nice clean quite place. The only thing that was not so good was the pool. I was planning to take a rest in the pool but when I felt the temperature of the water I almost died. It was very cold. I was also not so happy with the breakfast. Otherwise, very fine hotel.
They took perfect care of me! The airline managed to lose my luggage but the receptionist was very helpful and found stores that were open late. They also suggested a perfect restaurant close by with good food.
Stayed here on 3 separate occasions whilst working near Lulea over a 3 week period. Very friendly front of house with English speaking staff, quick and easy check in and free wifi throughout. Rooms are airy, bright and modern, very comfy bed, lovely wet room type ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. Flat screen TV etc. Breakfast buffet is very good with wide choice of continental and cooked items, fresh breads & pastries. Juices & tea / coffee etc. Breakfast area can get very busy at weekends - we were there when a concert was on and the place was packed, but the staff worked hard to replace any items running out, and clear places once guests had finished. Would definitely stay here again, it's a great hotel, in the centre of things, with lots to do and see in easy walking distance, with a wide selection of bars & restaurants only a few minutes away.
I have done a review about this hotel. This is my first choice in Luleå. They dont have a gym but they have an agreement with one gym near to the Hotel . However you pay around 90kr for a training! The problem there another gym in the town that offer you 100kr/month. I really think they have to review the agreement.
I just stayed two nights at this hotel at Lulea and it is quite nice in locations of center as well as sea sides. You can walk along the center of Lulea and walk along frozen seas easily from hotel. Breakfast is nice and room is good with nice bed.
The room was nice and recently renovated but without the basic bathroom needs (e.g., literally only had a soap/shampoo liquid soap combo; no bar soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner). Little things like toothpaste/toothbrush kits, coffee/tea in the lounge - typical standard freebies in hotels - actually cost money here. The shower was a little odd too - the glass barrier was so short that all the water ends up splashing all over the bathroom. The biggest thing that bugged me though was the lack of assistance from one of the staff (not the younger gentleman with brown hair, or the lady with brown hair - they were both lovely). This particular lady was so incredibly unhelpful. I asked for basic recommendations and she immediately directed me to the tourist office. Then the day I was checking out, I inquired about the bus schedule to the airport, given that it was a holiday. She initially couldn't be bothered to look up the schedule for me and suggested I go walk to the bus stop to check myself (um, no thank you in -20 weather!). She only looked it up for me after I expressly asked her to Google it for me, because I can't read Swedish. Disappointing. On the plus side, the breakfast spread was excellent especially the fresh waffles and jams.
I had to return early from the arctic expedition I was part of and booked a room here right as I was approaching Lulea on the bus from Kiruna. The hotel is about 10min walking distance from the central bus station right on the high street. I arrived early at 11am but the staff sorted me out with a room already then which was all that I wished for. The hotel is walking distance from all the sights in Lulea and there's an ATM, shopping centre, and a pharmacy very close by. It's a quiet and comfortable place, perfect for a rest after a long trip.
We booked 2 rooms. Our kids' room has 2 twin beds, and was larger overall, including the bathroom. They had a view of the front Street. Our room was a double with far less square footage and a view of the air shaft. Both rooms were impeccably clean and had comfortable beds. Both rooms were overheated but the radiators were adjustable so we were comfortable after turning the heat down to 1. Biggest drawback: no clothes storage other than a few hangers in the cupboard. No dresser with drawers. That meant living out of suitcases. Not the end of the world, but don't drawer space would have been nice.
