Great service from the moment we arrived. Situated in lovely grounds in a quiet part of Lucknow. The room was very comfortable with a nice view of the pool area. The food in both restaurants was delicious. Only downside was you are a bit isolated it you want to experience Lucknow at night
The Vivanta is like a dream from India with wonderfully equipped entry and rooms and a fantastic garden with swimming pool. It is a bit feeling like in a fairy tale. The service is fantastic and very attentive. The hotel has two nice restaurants, one which is more international kitchen and an extremely nicely equipped one with regional kitchen. The breakfast is very various and there is no specific appetite for which you cannot find something. I really enjoyed also the calm outside and the whole atmosphere!
wowww..... what a wonderful hotel it is I think that if anyone should come lucknow so should stay in this hotel it really desierve 5 star catagiare nice location awesome bathroom nice room nice service nice swimming pool everything nice to stay
I have stayed in Taj Lucknow couple of times . Loved the property , especially the interiors of it . Get you the feeling of City of Nawabs . Breakfast spread is average . Gym is small and you have to walk a distance before reaching there. Hotel also has good location, just adjacent to the mall
I stayed in a newly renovated room with a balcony. The room was very well appointed and comfortable in every possible way. The staff at the hotel were simply amazing. I stay at many hotels and must say this is a very well run hotel. Kudos to its leadership team
A wonderful looking hotel but don't be fooled. Visited this hotel for two nights on a 26 day tour of North India. Like many hotels in India they cater for outdoor functions. The wedding party that was on took over most of the grounds and the noise was unbearable with loud music and drums etc. We did complain as did many in our group but the hotel was not interested. They make more money from these functions than they do a few tourists. We had to be up at 4am for an early flight so not a lot of sleep was had at this hotel. These hotels look wonderful but are not much use if you can't get to sleep. You may want to check if a function is on when you are there. Also be aware that the food is very highly chillied, even the rice was hard to stomach.
Rooms being upgraded on lower floor and management apologized for any inconvenience. Our room was adequate, but the pool, gardens, staircase and restaurant, were stunning. No matchbox plastic hotel! This place has features to stun the senses. The marble floors are worth a visit alone. We had the restaurant and staff to ourselves, quite literally! What an excellent night we celebrated with them, a true festival of light. Nothing was to much trouble, we were so well looked after. It set the standard at the beginning of our trip which we will remember for many years to come. We sampled some classic regional dishes and enjoyed them enormously.
Went to Lucknow for a Business Meeting and waited for 2 hours at the Latitude Restaurant. The staff was highly courteous and when we asked for their recommedation, they guessed that Kathi Roll (Non-veg) will be best-suited for us. While they took 25 mins to prepare Kathi Roll, it was worth the wait and only more. Extremely delicious and quite filling. A must for every Lucknow visit.
I stayed at the Taj Lucknow for three nights during my 24 day stay in India. The welcome was one of the best that I received in India. Our group were greeted by smiling faces and we were given a bindi and a refreshing drink of lime. The entrance foyer was opulent and picturesque and check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good variety to satisfy all tastes. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room service (dining) was beautifully presented and very tasty. The shower was very powerful, just what was needed after a long day in the city. Unfortunately my busy schedule didn't allow me to explore the gardens or enjoy the pool.
