Hotel was amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was really good and such a money saver in expensive Lucern. The facility is well kept very clean rooms. The location is perfect. 11 minutes walk from train station and there is a bus stop 300 meters if you want to venture further to the transportation museum. Is close to all the points of interest. Plenty of restaurant around to chose from. The AC works great if that is a concern for anyone. It was quite hot when we were there and we had a very nice AC. I definitely recommend this place.
Hotel has no parking facilities and street parking is for permit holders only. Location is fine if public transportation is used but not convenient if you have a car.
Loved the location, near the train station and the old town, but not too near. Quiet area. Clean, neat room, with amazing balcony view. Fantastic breakfasts. Helpful and friendly staff. Loved everything about this hotel!
Location was good, not far from old town but far enough to be away from all the tourist traffic. Room was dated, bedding was a bit tattered, room got quite warm and was a bit noisy to open windows to let it cool down. Breakfast staff was very welcoming and pleasant...front desk staff not so much....tried to get recommendations for lunch and dinner spots but didn't received any help.
No air conditioner make room too hot. Could not open the windows, as more noise come in.

Overpriced for the quality. Okay location, friendly and helpful desk staff, awkward design, dirty linens. Location: About a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. Also about 15 minutes to the old city center. Hotel itself is off a main street and most rooms face an inner courtyard or a relatively unused street. Close to a shopping complex to the north. Hotel: Check in was straightforward. Staff were very friendly and capable in both German and English. The hotel provides a card for transportation including buses as well as S-Bahn to the Alpnachstad (access to the cogwheel train going up the Pilatus mountain). Breakfast was relatively good. The card also provides WiFi access for the old city. Breakfast was decent, but a bit awkward (only wine glasses available for juice, mislabeled foods). Room: My room was on the top floor and had a good view. Relatively spacious with a roomy bathroom. Two single beds next to each other, a desk with fan. Large TV (that I didn't use). The Good: Pretty roomy despite small size. Decent bed comfort. Quiet. Solid WiFi. Good shower action. The Bad: Both bed linens were stained and dirty in several places! Uncontrollable lights (The switch at the door controlled the power for the whole unit, meaning you couldn't turn off the bathroom light/fan without cutting power to everything). No air conditioning (some care even if I don't). The Weird: The lime green cloth covering the foot of the bed instead of the pillows.
