Beware Location and photo accuracy

Pictures listed on VRBO display a totally different rental property. Property manager never contacted us prior to our arrival. We had to contact them the day before to arrange to get keys and check in. Most VRBO experiences the property Manager communicates prior to your arrival , this was not the case. Listing did not indicate the location driving to the property has been treacherous and a safety issue. Road was partially paved dirt road to the location, one lane Up 11 km on the side of a mountain with no guard rails and blind hairpin turns. It was near impossible to turn into the driveway as it was Sharp, Steep, and a safety issue for our car. Upon arriving to our destinations it was apparent that the property we viewed and booked wise not to the level of VRBO‘s expectations. We have stayed at many VRBO’s throughout the US and Australia and have never had a property we denied excepting we have stayed at many VRBO‘s throughout the US and Australia and have never had a property we denied excepting Tuesday to stay at. The property indicated we would have a pool and poolside furniture. Not the case as it was covered up unavailable to use. The pictures indicated a lovely place but we did not see the same layout as the pictures indicated. Beds were old and worn and the bedding unacceptable to sleep on. Bathrooms were dirty not as shown on the web . This home reflected that it had not been booked for sometime as it was obvious it had been shut down for a while. When we expressed our concern for the safety of our travels to and from the property the property manager indicated that it would be no problem for her, why should it be a problem for us. We rejected the booking and left back into town to look for a hotel to stay in. She gave no offer to help us in anyway, nor did she offer to refund our money back to us. My question is I would like to know how many people have actually rented this property? Upon our return back home I looked to see reviews of this site and found there were only two reviews on the entire Internet.
