Clean Accommodation with bikes

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The bikes are needed every day to reach the city center, so be ready to ride some beach cruisers to most places you go. The beds are VERY firm. Our host was kind and helpful.

Convenient location in Lucca

Property was clean. Adequate space and bedrooms. Kitchenware barely useful; no storage containers for leftover food. Host responsive to needs. Overall, an above average experience for a three week stay. Didn't need to use air conditioning.

Excellent Experience

We were a group of 6 adult family members. Our overall experience at Casa Paola was excellent. Our expectations were definitely met. Location - absolutely perfect - close to all that is needed - grocery stores, restaurants, old city of Lucca. Parking always available on the street. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Communication with both Sabrina and Marta was easy and Marta responded to our questions quickly and clearly. Not to mention Marta giving us some fantastic tips on recommendations of places to see and things to do away from the usual touristy sites (ie. Garfagnana, swimming in a local river). Last but not least, the 6 bikes that are available to guests for a much easier and very cool bike ride on the walls around the old city. We would definitely return to Casa Paola if we're ever back in the area. Grazie mille Marta e Sabrina!

Great apartment as a base for exploring local area

This apartment was exactly as described, and a great base for us to explore this region of Tuscany. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and well equipped, and comes with bikes for you to cycle into Luca centre. Communication was great, with an easy check-in and out process. Cycling is helped by cycle lanes leading to the city walls. But you're also close to major roads if you wish to drive out to neighbouring towns or the countryside. It's just a 10 minute cycle to the railway station if you fancy catching a train to Florence or Cinque Terre.

The place was very lovely and centrally located. Hostess was very accommodating and the pantry was stocked with all the basic spices and coffee, tea, sugar was supplied for guests. Would recommend without hesitation!

Die Ferienwohnung war genau so großzügig wie beschrieben und sehr sauber. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hat uns auf Anfrage mit zusätzlichen Informationen zu Veranstaltungen versorgt. Die Nachbarschaft war angenehm und die Altstadt auch zu Fuß bequem zu erreichen. Die Kehrseite der zentralen Lage ist der Verkehr direkt am Haus, aber der setzt erst morgens ein. Unserer Familie hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Excellent property

Exceptional facilities. A little further out of the wall than I thought but perfect otherwise and very convenient for an extended stay. Found accommodations to be well planned once I figured it out. Enjoyed the freedom it provided and taxis got to know us well. All praises, no complaints. Would use it again! Sabrina was very kind and accommodating.

Lovely apartment in need of some improvements

The apartment is very spacious and idea for a family. I think some improvements/modernisation would enhance this substantially and there is a lack of instructions on appliances especially the heating which we could not find how to work it

Das Objekt ist ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Stadt und der Umgebung. Der Kontakt - insbesondere für den Check-inn und Check-out - mit der Vermieterin verlief optimal. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung beinhaltet alles Notwendige und war sehr geräumig für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Sie entsprechen der Beschreibung. Insgesamt haben wir einen äußerst positiven Gesamteindruck gewonnen und können dieses Objekt zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen.

PERFECT!

Everything went smoothly from the time we're arrived to the time we left. Communication with the three property manager was AWESOME. All our questions were answered. Rooms were spacious, bathrooms were perfect for 7 women. We all felt safe while we were there. Walking distance to "the wall" train station a short walk but not to far. I highly recommend this place. Thanks for everything!

very nice apartment - but noisy trafic

The handling and handing over of the apartment went absolutely without a hitch. Marta, the property manager, is very friendly and helpful, grazie! The apartment is really spacious, well equipped and conveniently located. With the bicycles one is in the city centre in few minutes. Actually, everything would be perfect, if there were not the partly nevertheless very heavy traffic passing in front of the house. Besides, the windows are unfortunately only simply glazed, so that the street noise with closed windows is to be heard very loudly. If you do not have a very deep sleep, you get a problem from 8 o'clock in the morning... ---- Die Abwicklung und Wohnungsübergabe verlief absolut problemlos. Marta, die Hausverwalterin, ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, grazie! Das Apartment ist wirklich geräumig, gut ausgestattet und sehr günstig gelegen. Mit den Fahrrädern ist man in wenigen Minuten im Stadtzentrum. Eigentlich wäre alles perfekt, wenn da der teilweise doch sehr starke Verkehr nicht wäre, der direkt am Haus vorbei führt. Zudem sind die Fenster leider nur einfach verglast, sodaß der Straßenlärm bei geschlossenen Fenstern leider sehr laut zu hören ist. Wenn Sie keinen sehr tiefen Schlaf haben, bekommen Sie morgens ab 8 Uhr ein Problem...

Localização excelente.

O apartamento tem mobiliário antigo mas limpo, amplo e confortável. É possível ir a pé até a cidade antiga, ao supermercado e farmácia. Todos os utensílios de cozinha, cama e mesa. Um dos banheiros não tem cortina e quando se toma banho, molha-se o banheiro todo. No mais, tudo ótimo

Great city, fine apartment!

We are two couples of old friends and greatly enjoyed the comfortable apartment, warm welcome, and fabulous city! We are also glad that we had dependable, strong wi-fi, after a week without it. A real plus were the serviceable bicycles that we part of the rental. We greatly enjoyed using them to bike into town on a secure bike path and then to bike around the city on top of the wide, shady walls. Views in all directions were great. We had a great time in Lucca in terms of historic and artistic treasurers, and we loved the food. We shopped at a nearby supermarket and ate two delicious meals at restaurants. We also had an easy train trip to Pisa to climb the Leaning Tower. All in all, a delighted three days and nights!

Perfect lovation

Booked this apartment as I have family that live in Luca. The apartment itself is ideally situated, it really is a 10 minute walk to the wall of Luca. It is situated near a supermarket for everything that you need. The apartment itself is large, bright, spacious and extremely clean. There is a washing machine dishwasher and everything else you expect to find in an equipped apartment. Overall I highly rate this apartment and was extremely happy with our stay. I was looked after well in Lucca by the owners and they were on hand and at the end of the phone to deal with any questions or queries.
