BEAUTIFUL VILLA JUST OUTSIDE LUCCA WITH MAJORDOMO

Nestled on the beautiful hills just 10 minutes away from Lucca's famous ancient walls, Villa Le Cipressae was probably first built in the 15th century as a church and a monastery. This supposition is confirmed by the design of the garden with its columns and walkways and for three stone arches on the southern facade. The first exact record as a house dates from 1690 when the powerful Mansi family owned it.
Many centuries have gone by and today the Villa, having undergone a 3 year restoration, ended in 2015, is now a gorgeous home ready to host guest who are looking for a relaxing place to stay while visiting Tuscany.
Luscious gardens and 3 Ha of olive groves, a lovely swimming pool with barbecue area, a gym, A / C, WiFi Internet, al fresco dining area, everything is here for your well being.
Apart from enjoying Lucca which is lovely, our location is an ideal spot where to start all your visits to Tuscany and surrounding regions. Pisa is only 40 min. away, Florence 60 min, Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio and their beautiful beaches are just 30 min away.
In the summer season Lucca hosts a very nice modern music festival, Torre del Lago hosts various Puccini concerts and all of Tuscany is packed with all sorts of cultural events.
You can go to Pietrasanta in 30 min. for a full immersion in modern art and there are too many places to visit to list them all here.
And do we want to mention Tuscany's food and wine?
You can even opt for a winter vacation, Abetone ski resort is just one hour away. You can stay here and drive every day to beautiful ski slopes.

Beautiful historic villa and gardens

We stayed in the villa for four weeks and had a fantastic time. House is spacious with plenty of indoor space and places to socialize. Gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Communication with owner, property manager and on-site support was easy and any questions were answered promptly.

Amazing Villa near Lucca

Having rented many villas over the years in France and Italy I think this one is fantastic. The owner is extremely charming and helpful and there is a couple living by the villa who are there to ensure all the support you want is available during your stay - be it cleaning, cooking, clearing etc they are very kind. The villa is beautiful with lovely classic Tuscan hillside views and is full of stunning interior features as well as having a mature well kept garden complete with vine covered pergolas and a lovely covered outside area in which to have sunset drinks and all day dining. Lucca is only a short drive away and all other essential amenities are nearby. All in all a lovely place!

Fantastic Holidays

We had a fantastic time at this very exceptional property in Tuscany/Italy. I would like to especially emphasize the extreme helpfulness of the caretaker of the property, Elisa, who always answered questions quickly and found uncomplicated solutions. Many thanks for this! A note for interested tenants of the property: the house is very idyllically located in the hills outside Lucca. A car is essential for mobility. The rental price of the house is not a bargain, however it was a very special experience and we will always remember our vacation at the villa fondly. Next time we visit Tuscany we will be happy to request the villa again.
