The property was well located. We have dogs so it was a big factor in our decision to stay

Closed a bit early. Tight bunks. One bedroom cabin was a studio:(

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was super friendly.

Good service good food

Good food and a great magnet

A great place to stay with a restaurant that served good food. Lots of friendly people around.

Diamond on the rough. Beautiful drive to this cozy lodge/cabin stay. Restaurant next door was delicious and the staff was super friendly.

We arrived late evening and had no cell service to call ahead of time. Facility left a note posted on their office door with my name - with instruction of where the cabin was. They had left the light on and unlocked the place for us so we can stay. Hot tub was very nice, especially after a long day. The cabin was nice and bigger than what we were expecting. Clean and comfortable, with that rustic feel. Restaurant next door served delicious (huge portion) food.

It’s out in the middle of the forest so there’s not much around. The room was comfortable. Parking spot right in front. I only wish there was either a ceiling fan, stand alone fan or small window AC. It got. a little stuffy and the window didn’t have a screen so we couldn’t open it. But that is a minor thing. We were only there one night for a wedding at a nearby location so we didn’t really look around.

Great place to stay on the way to the Middle Fork Salmon River. Very accommodating and even a small store with last minute items gas and ice

this place is a diamond in the rough. It’s my new favorite spot!

We planned on staying in Stanley, but everything was full. Our stay in Challis was a pleasant surprise. The motel was nice and clean, comfortable, and quiet. The Restaurant food was very good! Our room was very reasonable and was a good place to spend the night. Would stay there again.

Cabin B was warm and cozy! We pretty much had the place to ourselves both nights. Hot tub right out the cabin door was needed after a hike to hot springs. Food in the lodge was good and reasonably priced. The owner and staff were helpful and friendly. We are going to make this place a yearly vacation! Cons. The futon area could have been cleaner and the pots for cooking in the cabin were in bad repair. Gave it 4 of 5 mainly because we ordered a "homemade" cinnamon roll for breakfast and it was clearly old and reheated in a microwave prior to being brought out so that was disappointing.

Comfort and Cleanliness are my top two requirements. This passed plus it is an out of the way oasis.
