The property was near the grotto.I want to comment on one front desk agent-the older man,who was so nasty when I was inquiring about the buffet breakfast.Manu,the front desk agent who checked us in was very polite and accommodating.The two other front desk agents were also polite.The room was too warm-the room should have been colder(we could not control the temperature)All in all though I was satisfied and will stay in this property again when I visit Lourdes.

Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. We had a total group size of 16 and 6 stayed at this hotel because of the lack of available rooms. Hotel Astoria Vatican acommodated the larger group for breakfasts, group prayer meetings, and socializing in the lounge.
One member of our group was mobility challenged and the walk to the Sanctuary was challenging, but she had a pleasant ad memorable experience.
