Welcome to Woodhaven Retreat - a beautifully restored 1830s cabin that seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern amenities. Located in the heart of Mohican, this cozy retreat is the perfect place to relax and unwind with your family. Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside while still being close to all that Loudonville has to offer. Book now for a peaceful getaway!

The property is a picturesque retreat nestled in a serene valley surrounded by wooded hills on both sides. Its idyllic location is further enhanced by a small creek running through the open grass yard in front of the cabin and a wood-covered hill to the rear.

Relaxation is the order of the day with several rocking chairs on the front deck offering the perfect vantage point to soak up the tranquil setting. Alternatively, the back patio boasts a hot tub, gas grill, and Adirondack chairs where you can unwind and enjoy the fresh air.

A fire ring in the front yard provides a cozy ambiance, but you'll need to bring your lawn chairs and firewood to enjoy it fully.

As you enter through the front door, you'll be greeted by a spacious kitchen and dining area fully equipped to cater for your culinary needs. The island with a raised bar is a great spot to sit and eat, while the large dining table comfortably seats eight people with extra chairs and benches available for larger groups.

The common area boasts two couches and three chairs where you can relax and socialize with your companions. For your entertainment, a 75" Smart Roku TV has been provided. This part of the house is the original 1830s cabin, which adds to the ambiance with its exposed logs and timbers.

The game room has a table for playing any of the supplied games, and there are a couple of rocking chairs for quiet reading and relaxation.

The bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed to cater for different preferences. The master bedroom has a king bed and a half bath, while the second and third bedrooms also feature king beds. The loft area has two twin beds, a full bed, and a futon, but please be aware that access is via a steep ladder.

For your convenience, there is a laundry room with a washer and dryer that you are welcome to use.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, and a balcony or patio. There's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms and a dining area. We really enjoyed the cabin! It was close to activities, river tubing on the Mohican River, Mohican Adventures, Ugly Bunny Winery, Landoll’s Castle, and grocery. The cabin was secluded and peaceful. We had everything we needed.

Beautiful property and house plenty of room for a very large family and friends on site frisbee golf very that was very enjoyable to play very large nice well maintained clean hot tub grill on European girl on site beds and house for very clean definitely would recommend for somebody that does not want any road traffic once peace and quiet great internet as well would definitely recommend.

The property was beautiful, tranquil, and peaceful. Amazing place for grandparents to take grown children and grandkids 10 and under. The grandchildren played disc golf, waded in the creek with mud boots, spotted starry constellations at night from the hot tub, hiked and and played games

Time away with friends

We had a great mom’s getaway to this cabin. The cabin is gorgeous and there are plenty of rooms with great space for many people to sit around and talk. One of our favorite parts was that when we asked for the check out instructions they said “just leave the beds that were slept in unmade”. For a group of moms needing to getaway and relax, hearing that we didn’t need to strip the beds, do the dishes, load the washer, and sweep the floors was absolutely amazing! Plenty of extra towels and blankets too which was great!

The property and house is absolutely beautiful! The house was spotless, so much room to spread out and relax. The owners put so much love into their house. Six of us took a long weekend to play board games, cook, and relax. We were not disappointed! The house has a long dining table that comfortably fit our whole crew. The main area has radiant heat in the floors, which means you stay warm without thinking about it even when it’s chilly outside. The kitchen was well equipped. We’d happily return.

Serene tranquility near Mohican and Holmes County

What a beautiful cabin and experience. From the well equipped artisan crafted luxury cabin to the fun and completely unexpected frisbee golf course this was the perfect retreat for our family. Great location right between hiking at Mohican and exploring all there is in Holmes County. Great place for quiet, tranquility, and rejuvenating. Could not ask for more!

My husband and I spent a weekend getaway at the Woodhaven Cabin. The host Clint was awesome! The cabin was very, very clean! We enjoyed the authentic cabin atmosphere, with modern amenities. Sitting on the front porch in rocking chairs along with the hot tub was very relaxing!
