I recently stayed at the new Palihotel Westwood Village, and I must say it was a fantastic stay. The location is great. They have various and many opportunities around. I loved the decor...it was simple with a great choice of colors, which made it feel comfortable. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The continental breakfast was one the the best that i’ve had at a hotel. My fav part was the fact that they have an espresso machine in the lobby ☺️ i would definitely recommend staying here, and I would stay here again.
Stayed the weekend with friends at this hotel. It was an amazing location with walking to everything from fine dining to coffee shops. The interior decor is amazing and so well done and it offers nespresso coffee free all day long and an unbelievable European style breakfast every morning included with your stay. Will definitely stay again and had the best experience.
What a lovely and pleasurable experience! The hotel is charming and bright; the staff are so friendly, fun and helpful; and the breakfast food was yummy (esp. the granola!). I want to especially shout out every single person working there - so gracious, friendly, helpful, and fun. Thank you!
I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Palihotel and it was amazing. I was on an apartment hunting trip and wanted to stay in clean, quiet room - but this hotel ended up being so much more! We stayed in a deluxe 2-bedroom room. It was spacious with plenty of room for our luggage. The decor of the room was chic. The headboards on the beds are very unique and comfortable. The minibar and fridge are loaded with great treats - even LA favorite Compartes chocolate! The wifi was great - it was free and we had no issues with speed. The morning breakfast was delicious. Great granola, oatmeal, hardboiled eggs, pastries and nespresso coffee. The attention to detail in the hotel is incredible. It is an older building, but nothing is overlooked. But most importantly, the front desk staff were warm, helpful and friendly. Having stayed at all the hotels in the Westwood area, this one is my favorite by far! I would recommend it to anyone coming to West La.
I have to give this place 5 stars because it was a great value. For $100/night (price when I stayed) it was great. Very stylish, comfy bed, relatively quiet, cool neighborhood. That being said the hotel still has a few problems. Rooms are VERY small - our toilet was less than 1in from the wall on one side and there’s no full length closet or spot to put bags. They also don’t have an elevator so those with limited mobility should request the first floor. In addition, they have somewhat of an obnoxious late check out policy ($50-$100 for every extra hour). Also, just a heads up, they only serve decaf coffee. Would still definitely stay again at this price range!
I stayed here the first week that the hotel opened and it was perfect! The decor is incredibly welcoming and warm- as if you're in someone's gorgeous home. The rooms are great and comfortable and the best part is you can walk to pretty much anywhere in Westwood. Another huge plus is the free breakfast :) Would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends & family
I travel to LA often for both business and fun and this is a great new addition to an area that I have always loved for location, restaurants and walk-ability but that never had a good hotel option. The property feels like a small boutique hotel in Paris with a California influence. Beautiful interiors, spacious rooms, amazingly comfortable beds and a great continental breakfast. Easy walk to so many good spots and The Hammer Museum, which we love. We know and stay with the Palisociety brand often and this new addition brings their style to life in a really nice way.
I can’t say enough positive things about this new boutique hotel that just opened up. From the front desk staff Isaiah that checked me to the hotel manager Darren, they were all so accommodating and helpful. The beat part is if you book directly through their website not only do you get the best rates but continental breakfast. I stayed in one of their king rooms and it was so bright and sunny with large windows overlooking the courtyard. Location is a major plus too.... minutes walk to restaurants and shopping. Can’t wait to visit again very soon
I was really excited to stay at this new Pali hotel (which was originally the Clarion Hotel) with my daughter in Westwood Village over Mother's Day weekend. On many levels it did not disappoint. The introductory price was great, the beds were really comfortable, the well appointed mid century modern decor was fun and simple, the continental breakfast was good and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The towels were brand spanking new and could've been washed more before putting out in rooms - when I used the black hand towel I had black lint stuck to my hands. While it was easy to park on the street and I did not park at the hotel, I was charged $45 plus $4.50 tax per night for at total of $99 for parking charges. If I didn't open the attachment they sent me, I wouldn't have know about these mistaken fees. When I called - which was not easy - the website number always goes to voice mail - I was told they are working out a glitch in their system. $99 is a hefty glitch and the bill should've been reviewed prior to charging my credit card and anyone else's. After a few calls finally someone at the Pali Hotel Melrose gave me the Pali Westwood's direct number: 424-273-1554 which you won't find on the website. They sent a new email with the charges removed and I was told it may take 5-7 business days to be processed. So, I give them 5 stars for comfort and pleasant staff and 0 stars for ability to speak directly with a person over the phone and 0 stars for charging me an extra $99. Total = 3 stars
