The property is somewhat removed from the "downtown area and the beach/waterfront. However, since the locale is relatively small and totally walkable, this is a minor issue. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and security was never an issue.
Very nice and clean
Enjoyed a restful stay while driving back to LA from La Paz. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. We had a quick check in, complimentary drink and restful night. Good deal!
THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL. AND THE PLACE IS VERY CLEAN.
The staff is very friendly! Rooms were spotless, beds comfortable. It is very nice haveing yhe mimi mart attached to the hotel....pool and hot tub were very well maintained! Would definitely stay again!
Would never go back there again. Staff, for the most part, were all very kind and helpful, however, this hotel is primarily used for employees of a larger, new resort that is being built about 20 minutes away. They work hard on pushing sales of the newer resort. Very few people staying in this hotel are not their employees, perhaps that's why the rooms are very outdated and limited amenities. We only had two towels in our room (while there were 4 of us), it took us two days to get extra towels and had to ask multiple people. The town of Loreto, however, is Awesome!!!!!
THE HOTEL HAD NO WATER FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME.The hotel could have done a better job at communicating the problem.. The hotel new in advance of the water situation, however did nothing to warn paid costumers in advance.. I would have stayed elsewhere.
Nice clean room and amenities were sufficient. no wash clothes . TV had English channels which was a plus A/C was excellent. The view was different with everything facing the court yard pool area. The sliding glass door faced the walk way so really no privacy and only a small kitchen window to look out over the city/bay. Staff was excellent and spoke English very well. Very accommodating. There was no brochures or literature about sight seeing etc.
The person at the front counter was very helpful and friendly.
our stay this time was not as good as last time. the front desk had a bad attitude when I was checking in. he made me feel like I was bothering him because I checked in very late that night. they also did not have any TV remote for our room.
Overwhelming smell of cleaning solutions on first arrival. Door to neighbor allowed noise to penetrate but they did get to bed at a reasonable hour. Sliding glass doors were a little tricky to lock and unlock. Be aware that the ATM in the adjacent store did NOT work for us. The concierge told me to call my bank and got me really worried. She also said when I asked if there was a nearby bank, that all the banks were closed (It was about 2:30 pm.) What I hope she will say to the next folks who have our problem is to try the Bank Azteca (first left after the Supermercado) It was open til 8:00 in the evening. Our debit cards worked just fine there. Busy end of town but an easy walk to center and to the ocean. Bus terminal is right across the street. Oh, she also told us that the bus to San Ignacio would probably take about 8 hours. It didn't, it took 5 hours, which is what it had said online. Bed was hard and so were the pillows, a mattress topper would have been nice. But very reasonable price and front desk was very helpful in contacting the boat tour people we had booked a tour with.
It's the first big hotel in town. Has a market inside, and an ATM. The facility's are clean and it looks like an oasis inside by the pool area. Folks that stay here seem friendly. Our room was clean and cute. Had a kitchenette. The bed was hard and pillows lumpy, but useable. There are only t.v. Channels in Spanish, but we are in Mexico!! It is in town, so it's not in the cutest area, but people of Loreto are friendly, and the hotel security seemed to be good. Can walk to all the shops and restaurants and Beach. Would stay again esp for the price.
Had a studio with connecting door. Could hear everything the neighbors did. Great hotel otherwise. Had a rental car which would be essential as it is out of downtown a ways.
We booked two weeks in Loreto. The first week was at the Santa Fe. I wasn't sure how it would be, because the price was so reasonable. It was a great place! Twin beds, stove and fridge. Clean and neat. Pool was warm but that was about the only draw back. You could stay here for 3 weeks compared to what it would cost at La Mision. It's a walk to the beach, but an outstanding find.
The location was convenient. The rooms were comfortable and equipped with a kitchenette. We had complementary fruit in our rooms.
Staff incredible, room spotlessly cleaned. Quiet and comfortable.
Plastic shower floor was buckling while showering and cracked during shower, water escaping to bathroom floor. Our room had kitchenette with 2 plates, 2 coffee cups (no coffee maker), 1 bowl, 2 forks, 1 spoon. Staff very helpful- front desk clerk did find a coffee maker for us after searching several rooms and other staff found another bowl and spoon. Beds comfortable, towels decent quality. Beautiful courtyard with pool.
