Bed was creaky and uncomfortable (108) wifi was free, but you couldn't get logged on, even the young techi receptionist could not get it to work. Bar was nice, would be good to see some real ales on tap. Breakfast included, for continental was excellent. Husband had a full English, at £8.95 and said was ok
Had a great stay while studying on a course. Staff were very helpful, and though the odd area of the hotel needed a little TLC, it was very clean and tidy. Continental breakfast was great for me and my colleague heartily recommended the cooked breakfast, which I managed to resist - just.
A clean and comfortable hotel, small but compact rooms with all standard utilities. Very friendly staff throughout with a good reception. Lift to all floors with good, free, secure parking, (only barrier manned during the day?) Room Service basic but eatery on site ok, with Indian, Italian and some English dishes. Not expensive, and draws in the locals. Good clean bar with very good beer. Breakfast buffet Continental and served to order English
Stayed for one night in August 2017 but I really only used the room to get ready and to sleep in, as I was out elsewhere for the night. It's got everything you expect from a standard budget-price hotel. There was a bar and restaurant which I didn't use (and also a big pub next door). There's a car park as well, which is well managed. There was a big wedding on at the venue when I was there but I was directed to a parking space. Reception staff were quick and polite. They really ought to give two key cards when they know a room is occupied by two people. We didn't come back at the same time - an extra bit of plastic would have been useful. Breakfast is buffet style continental and you can pay for hot food as well. It's a perfectly good hotel for the price and nothing either very good or very bad stood out. Clean, comfortable and good price.
We have stayed at this hotel a few times, it is right next door to South Ruislip station but you don't hear the trains, it has a large car park and easy to get to from the A40. Great Value compared with staying in Town
My friend booked this hotel for me for one night, on arrival went to reception for check in which was quick and simple however receptionist didn't seem to friendly no smile at all yes I was smiling lol The room I had was on the 1st floor in the room had a musty smell, big chip in the bath and stains on the work tops in the bathroom and the tiles needed fresh grout. Bed was not bad the info in the room about the hotel and local shops and things to do in London was good would I stay again sorry NO
I stay at this hotel one or two nights most weeks as it is a couple of minutes walk from my office so reviewing it is a bit strange really. What can I tell you. Well to start Ruislip is not London and the area the hotel is in is a little bit run down although on the plus side it is right next to the tube station (central line) which is great access to London. The hotel itself is clean but basic. The rooms are in need of refurbishment but as I say it is clean. The water pressure is great and you do get a great powerful shower. I really hate those hotels where you have to run around under the shower to get wet!! The hotel has rooms over 3 floors, whatever floor you are on, walk to your room as you will wait for days for the lift to arrive! It is the slowest lift in recorded history, honestly if records were held it would win the snail race! The staff are great, everyone has a smile. Most are either Polish or Indian I think but all will go the extra mile to help and engage with the customer. In terms of food the hotel is managed by Indian management and if you like curry as I do, this place is 5 star. Honestly you cannot get a better curry!! Truly stunning food. The breakfast is fairly simple but you will have a full belly from the curry the night before! They have a big TV in the bar area for those who wish to watch the football etc and there are always a couple of locals in the bar that will keep you entertained if you watch out for them. All in all a nice place if you want silk sheets not for you, if you want a great curry you have to stay there.
We have been to the Ramada Hotel Restaurant 5 times for special birthdays and we highly recommend it. The Chef, Andy is an excellent cook. He provides outstanding service and exceptional quality of food, especially the Steak and the Indian dishes. Andy is very friendly and comes out to greet us personally to see of we are satisfied with our meal. Nothing is too much trouble. Pat, Sharon, Linda and Megan.
Old hotel, small rooms with just the necessary to sleep. Good for a one nighter or a small business trip. Don’t expect much from the site nor the crew. Had troubles with the reservations (they told us it was cancelled when it wasn’t) and had 0 will of solve the issue.
We were attending s family wedding and as we had stayed in Ramada Hotels before we thought it would be a good choice for us The location was good overall the hotel was fine. After all you mainly get what you pay for As we would be out most of the three days we stayed we thought it would be ideal. On arrival the receptionist was very helpful and polite the room was fine, clean towels ,extra pillows Was noisy out side but as we were out in the day didn't really disturb us. The breakfast was included in the price it was Ok plenty of choice and adequate for our needs If you are looking for a place to stay for a reasonable price this hotel is fine. After all l am a great believer that most of the time when you stay in hotels you get what you pay for. If you want luxury then pay more
