Excellent Staff

Very clean and well proportioned room. Only issue was shower not draining properly, staff were aware and plumber is due to fix. Disappointed the EV Charger was not operational 😕. Excellent staff, ample parking and great bar. Continental breakfast was a nice touch. Would recommend if you are looking for accommodations in the area

No instruction where to check in. Eventually when I found it, check in took almost an hour. My chosen room was given to someone else. Lots of noise from pub downstairs. During checkout no instruction where to leave they key and no staff on site in the morning.

Breaching customer data protection policy

You can imagine how it would feel when you arrive after long journey to your prebooked and fully paid accommodation, and sbe surprised that the hotel is breaching your data protection policy, refusing to check you in after misleading you with many phone calls, charging you a penalty.

This hotel needs major refurbishing the carpets are very worn in the rooms and room very small the only good point is the small bath room shower only was refurbished.

I would happily visit again.

Check in was smooth. Staff were very helpful. Location was very near to both a tram stop and a bus stop. Breakfast was basic but included in the price so more than adequate. Parking was also free and I never had a problem with finding a space in the car park.

Stayed at this property for 3 nights in the summer. Was given the room on the ground floor of the annex and the window for the room opened to the parking lot. It was very warm weather and the only way to get cooler air was to have that window open. But it was unsafe to leave it open when we left during the day bc of easy access of the parking lot, so our room was like a sauna when we returned. It also felt unsafe to sleep at night with the window open bc anyone could come in that way. There was also a lot of noise from customers talking g in the parking lot and on Saturday night there was loud music and yelling/singing happening in the parking lot at 1am! The room we were given should never be used as a guest room. There are so many issues with it being on the ground floor with the only window opening in the parking lot! On top of all this, the wifi did not work at all. It only worked in the restaurant, but it couldn't be used in the annex building where our room was. We got no help from staff other than telling us it should work.
