Difficult to find entrance which was obscured by parked lorries, room comfortable and quiet. Restaurant and bar were closed as it was a Saturday, reception gave us a map of restaurants but none in walking distance. Breakfast was the usual boiled eggs and ham. We prefer to be able to walk to dinner rather than drive so won't be coming back
Have stayed here several times and have never had a complaint. Room and bathroom very clean, comfortable bed, and best of all very good food in the restaurant. Also it is quick and easy to reach from the autoroute.
Convenient for autoroute, not in a pretty setting but great for an overnight stop. Compact room but has all you need including tea/coffee making. Reliably wifi, friendly staff and a very good menu and well presented, freshly prepared hot food, good selection of wines and reasonably priced.
A good hotel that was well presented and attended by pleasant staff. Only downside was the location. It was based next to an industrial zone, with trucks noise an occasional issue for my children. Otherwise, good value and an appropriate journey breaker.
Yes the Room was a little snug but tea and coffee facilities were available in it and the breakfast was exceptional. The staff were so helpful. The room was clean, bathroom had extras like shampoo and shower gel. Was close to the motorway for easy access. Definitely a good stopover.
The Kyriad is well placed close to E5 and is easy to find, good sized car park. Helpful staff speak some English. Restaurant often closed at weekends, but there is a small bar. Rooms clean, with kettle, tea and coffee etc. Comfortable bed ensured a good nights sleep. Happy to recommend and would return.
Good budget hotel. Easy to find. Has bar facilities, but does not do food Saturdays and Sundays. Friendly helpful staff. I had not used this chain before but was pleased with my choice and would use them again for overnight stays on long journeys
Booked this through Booking.com, x2 twins for the family. Hotel is easy to find just off the motorway but located a little out of town. Rooms are fine for overnight stays, clean linen, bathroom with free coffee and tea. Restaurant was popular which influenced our decision to eat in although dogs at the table is really not our thing. Food was good although I recommend a well done option for the burgers - my family took it as served and the mince was raw in parts - generally speaking very satisfied all around. As we were needing to refuel at the super market on departure we picked up breakfast from there also. Its our second stay with Kyriad and they are good value for overnight stop overs. Worth pre booking - local rate 66euros while we benefitted from a 49euro rate with Booking.com
Kyriad have proved a good chain for us before, but the food has disappointed at times. On this occasion, midway through a long journey home from the south of France to Calais, we decided to book a Saturday night at the Kyriad in Saran, Orléans. Saran is very handy to reach from the autoroutes, but is a bit of a northern add-on modern backwater in some respects, with a need to drive if you want to visit other restaurants. However, we found no need. The greeting from Adrien and his team was impeccable and charming, the room definitely big enough and immaculately clean. The ground floor booking meant not too far to unload quite a few bags. Lots of hot water for a refreshing bath, and then into the restaurant where we could meet the charming and highly efficient Eloide - who served us an impeccable Loire Touraine Sauvignon, well-chilled, recommended the fish dish (Cocotte de Meyrague?) for one of us, and talked round the new chef to furnish off-menu an ace cheese omelette for the vegetarian other. All was generous and very well prepared and absolutely delicious. We were so impressed at the quality and value of the meals and the accommodation. The beds were probably the most comfortable we've ever known in a hotel, and the unstinting class of the bed linen was much appreciated too. In the morning the buffet breakfast lived up to Adrien's sincere recommendation - with superb scrambled eggs, fresh baguettes, a gourmet cheese board, yoghurts, jams, croissants and sausages and bacon for those who like them. The choice of coffee and tea selections produced fine beverages 'pour la route'. A friendly farewell from another couple of alert members of this young and impressively professional staff team led to our response that we were absolutely sincere when we said "and we'll be back!"
Arrived for a Saturday stopover on the way north after a holiday. Very friendly greeting. Went to the restaurant for dinner. It seemed that staff hadnt turned up so that the manager was covering both restaurant and reception. Despite this we were sat down promptly. After a few minutes our order was taken. Our meal arrived with little delay. Despite the problems the manager was having he remained calm throughout. The meal was delicious. Room was clean and comfortable. In my opinion the test of a hotel is what they do when things go wrong and the management passed the test well.
