This is the cleanest VRBO home we have ever rented. The entire house was SO clean! The floors were spotless, the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms were very clean, and the hot tub water was obviously changed just prior to our stay. The host was very helpful when we reached out for a few details. The directions and check-in process provided made our arrival very easy. The close access to Old Man’s Cave and the Hocking Hills Lodge was perfect for our visit! This is a perfect cabin for a large group!!

Wonderful stay celebrating the new year. The cabin was perfect for our large family of 10 adults. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking every night. The beds were comfy and had good pillows. It was a super cold week during our stay, the cabin wasnt drafty and the fireplace was perfect. Great communication from the hostess before, during and after our trip. Would definitely recommend and already considering booking for next year.

Not only was the host accommodating, she drove 45 minutes to help us reach a chirping smoke alarm!The cabin was large, easy access for a wheelchair bound friend.We had everything we needed and more…We will definitely return! My only recommendation is to add a note as to where to purchase firewood.

Perfect place for a larger group! Many places can sleep a lot of people, but here there's actually enough room at the kitchen table to eat together and enough chairs at the fire pit to gather and socialize and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings!

I rented this cabin with nine other women for a long weekend retreat, and it was exactly what we hoped for. Every room was equally inviting, with comfortable beds and thoughtfully arranged spaces. Even the bunk beds had sturdy, adult-friendly mattresses—no one felt like they got the “kid” bed! The entire cabin was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of seating for group gatherings and quiet nooks for personal reflection. Whether we were sharing meals, playing games, or enjoying a moment alone, the space supported it all beautifully.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had 15 family members gather for a great family vacation. The house was close to so many hiking, boating and swimming options. The wonderful deck provided great coverage as we listened to a storm roll in one evening. All amenities were exceptional. We made some great memories at Scarlet Ridge.

Perfect Cabin

We had a great vacation at this cabin. We had a group of 17, and everyone ages 8 to 78 enjoyed the cabin, which was very clean, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Great amenities for relaxing like fire pit and hot tub and also amenities for fun like the pool table and corn hole boards. We would definitely recommend this rental and look forward to visiting again.

Excellent family-friendly vacation house

The house accommodated our family well, 8 adults and 3 pre-schoolers! Centrally located to all of our hikes! The wrap-around porch and covered deck were a great asset. We would definitely tent this place again!!
