We stayed at this hotel right after hurricane Harvey. Staff was very helpful and the hotel is well maintained. Coffee provided in the lobby all day. They provide a nice variety of breakfast foods. This is a convenient, and safe hotel for travelers.
The carpet in the room was filthy Large stains There were stains on towels,shower curtain, bedspread Blood on the bedspread Hair on the bed The room felt filthy to say the least The TV wouldn't work We called the front desk and did what they suggested and it still didn't work
We were evacuated from our home during the flood. Jenn, Patti, Carla and Lara were so awesome, friendly, helpful and worked long hours during the midst of our stay. The housekeeping staff worked very hard during this time. Single Room were ok but small. Really wish the hotel had fridges and microwaves in all the rooms. Overall made you feel like they cared and you were looked after for all your needs.
I was amazed at the service we were given by the employees at this hotel! From the very beginning Carla was kind, welcoming, and caring, she made us feel so comfortable even under the stress we were feeling from the hurricane. Next, the manager Jen was so helpful and very professional! I must say she held it together without any chaos. She remained calm throughout the entire stay and made sure everything was taken care of in an orderly fashion! The head room keeper Laura was so friendly despite the storm and trying to clean up after so many rooms, the main woman cleaning rooms was devoated to cleaning every morning until the job was done when the other house keepers didn't show up. Lastly, the kind woman in the morning who served breakfast was one of the most kind hearted, helpful, women we have ever met. I cannot explain enough how grateful my family and I are for these staff members! I have not had this experience at any other hote!
Lady at the desk was all I saw. She was great. Enjoyed the stay I checked in about 5 pm and left at 4 am. Truly didn't get to see anybody but room was clean. Shower was very relaxing hate the the single room is so small but it was truly worth the stay will be staying again soon.
Horrible rooms and staff, the room was dirty, leftover left in fridge, both beds and shower were full of hair, tv was left to blaring vulgar music, having to go downstairs because no one would answer the phone to find them out back smoking. List goes on and on
I booked this for a business trip, as a loyal honors member. Upon arrival front desk reception was great! Getting to the room, it was clear that the property has been well used, and requires some updating and maintenance. Mood due to high humidity, and up keep is required. The fitness Center requires some 'love' and could well do with a stationary bike to round out the limited offer. Time for a little upkeep to keep it on brand. If you stay, put the Blue duck on your dinner roster for some good local fare.
The staff were very nice, but the condition of the rooms was terrible. Poorly maintained and needed better cleaning. It was the worst Hampton Inn I've been in - typically they are very nice, but I won't be staying at this location again.
If you need a place to stay in Livingston, Texas, I recommend Hampton Inn. Everything about the stay was great: staff, service, room, and breakfast. If I every stay in Livingston, Texas again Hampton Inn will be my first choice of hotels.
I was really disappointed with this hotel. I've stayed at quite a few Hilton locations and specifically Hampton Inns and this one was under par. The floor was dirty, carpet visibly appeared to need vacuuming. There was a stash of hair and dirt behind bathroom door. The AC was extremely loud and kicked on/off all night. Overall the hotel was not super clean and just had this neglected look and feel. The staff was friendly but looked tired and not sure they knew what was going on. The pool was a little dirty. The lady who managed the breakfast was super friendly and helpful, however I would not stay here again. It looks like they need an update.
