A budget hotel which is close to the train station, metro, and shops. The room was clean but the bathroom wasn’t great. Quite noisy at night but that is to be expected given the location. We didn’t interact with any staff as we were emailed the access codes to the main door and our room before arrival.

Literally 2 minutes walk from Lime St Station and less than 10 from the O2 Academy. Comfy beds and exactly what we needed for an overnight stay to see a gig. It’s not particularly romantic or luxurious, but the price reflects that.

We paid a substantial amount for our overnight stay in this hotel but it offered the experience of a poor quality budget hotel. Our room had only been half cleaned, with a half used small bottle of shower gel still in the bathroom and the remains of a sachet of instant coffee in the room. There was just one mug, although we had booked the room for two, but we elected not to use that mug because we were not confident that it would be clean. The mattress on the bed was badly stained. The shower leaked (a common hotel experience) but this leaked out of the bathroom into the bedroom. My partner accused me of booking somewhere grotty on the cheap but I paid a substantial amount for the room and expected a much higher quality experience than we received.
