The hotel is in a great location right in centre of town shops,Bars short stroll to Albert dock. The hotel was Clean and staff very friendly at reception cant fault anything ,did not eat in restraint so cannot comment on the food we did have a drink in the bar which was very nice. room had all you could need tea coffee ect, toiletries kettle .would recomend this hotel and would stay again .

The location of this hotel is spot on - John Lewis etc. are to the left and if you walk up the street after turning right out of the hotel, you'll end up by Primark etc. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and many pubs are within a few minutes of walking. The hotel itself was very clean. The water of the shower wouldn't go down and we told reception in the morning and the member of staff said she would immediately pass on the message. Check-in was easy, as was check-out. We were given a ticket (when checking out) so that we could park in Q Park cheaper. This meant we paid £11.00 for 24 hrs - very reasonable. I've stayed here before and I will definitely stay here again.

Spent last weekend here and had a great time in Liverpool. Found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Excellent location for the centre of town, right on the doorstep of Liverpool one and a stones throw from the docks. The Ropewalk bar was great to have a cocktail or a nightcap and was open till 1:00 am. We found the rooms to be comfortable and quiet considering we were in the heart of the city. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Liverpool.

Spend 4 nights here at the start of the month. Superior room was very nice, spacious and clean. Modern fittings and bathroom, toilet was separate from the bathroom which has its pros and cons. Is good that using the toilet doesn't affect someone else having a bath or shower but means you have to go into the bathroom to wash your hands, might be a problem if you're sharing with someone who likes privacy. Hair dryer, ironing board, shampoo, shower gel all supplied. Hotel in a great location, 2 minute walk from Liverpool one and 5 minutes from Albert Dock. Breakfast was ok but not worth £13.95. Bar closed at 1am on Saturday night and 12am on Sunday so no late drink if you fancy one. Staff really friendly and helpful. Had a great stay and would recommend.

This hotel could hardly be in a better location for sight seeing. It's a 6 or 7 minutes walk to Albert Dock area and pier Head where the hop on hop off buses depart from. These buses are great value there are varying prices depending on the trip you choose. The tickets last for 24 hrs. and some for 48 hrs. from time of purchase and can be used at any time during that period. Liverpool 1 shopping centre is a 5 minute walk away. Once you arrive there be prepared to stay for a few hours as this place has a multitude of classy shops, bars and restaurants. Then of course there is the Cavern Club and Cavern Pub 2 separate places opposite each other in Matthew Street. You can't go to Liverpool without a visit to these 2 places. About the Novotel this is a 1st. Class Hotel in the heart of Liverpool we were only there for 2 nights B&B and the breakfasts were really good (full English and a good selection of cold meats) the restaurant staff were spot on with their service and very friendly. The rooms were large, spotlessly clean with comfortable large beds. Ours was on the 5th floor and very quiet overlooking the side road opposite the Q park where guests could park their cars. Our check in and check out was hassle free and speedy. Anyone booking this hotel need have no fear and we will definitely have no qualms about a return visit.

Novotel Liverpool can't be beaten, my 13 year old daughter and I love it here and we keep coming back again and again. The pool is lovely and relaxing. The reception staff are always welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is awesome with lots and lots of choice. Rooms are constantly spotlessly clean. I can't fault you Novotel Liverpool. See you again in a couple of weeks when we're bringing even more family members to enjoy the top quality services offered here.

We were lucky to grab a night here for the excellent sum of £50 due to a 50th Novotel Anniversary offer. The room itself was excellent as was the service provided by the hotel staff. My little one's cot was perfectly safe but not without some visible baby stains. Maybe a new bulk order of travel cots is required by hotel hierachy. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable night away. Tip: The Q park (car park) is convientely next door to the hotel.

Got to the hotel early, receptionist wasn't very welcoming, never asked if we'd had a good journey nor smiled. The room was ready, which was unexpected. We were on the 10th floor and the view was awesome!!! The housekeeping staff had done an excellent job, hats off to them, it was super clean, beds were made well, enough pillows, bath room was clean, enough towels. Plenty of storage for clothing, iron, board, fridge and safe provided, all good, especially if you're staying more than one might!!! Only gripe about the room, there are built in phone charges either side of the beds, but they didn't work, and with only 2 plug sockets in the whole room!!! But really, it's no problem!!! The extraction fan in the bathroom wasn't working either, but it didn't spoil our stay!!! We didn't eat in the restaurant, but came back later to use the bar. I ordered the same round of drinks, three times, and each time the price changed!!! Twice it was £8 something, the third came to £6 something!!! Figure that one out!!! Breakfast!!!! Lucky I'd paid online, so I hadn't paid £13.95. So, we turned up to be " greeted" by the breakfast manager, she showed us to a table, asked if we wanted tea or coffee, we sat down, the coffee was just plonked down and that was it!!! No asking if we'd been before, no telling us where things were or how it worked, and no enjoy your breakfast. So we went to join the throng of people, found where the bread was, queued behind a lady who was having trouble with the toaster, which was by the look of it, a household toaster, took her four attempts to get her toast!!! There wasn't much bread but plenty of staff who weren't replenishing the stock. The bacon was dreadful, it looked and tasted like it had been barbecued, the only nice things were the baked beans and hash browns!!! The bread was supposed to be thick, I've seen thicker Morrisons value bread. The coffee was burnt and bitter, it's brought to you in a jug and the best, and I know management will dispute this venomously, was that the juices, apple and orange, were both watered down. My Daughter asked for a glass to be brought out from the kitchen, and that tasted far better than the watered down version!!!! The staff were oh so miserable looking!!! They never once acknowledged you, just kept their eyes down and cleared the tables. It took them for ever to restock the bread!!! I did complain to reception about the breakfast, and the same manager came who'd seated us. When I said about the juices, she laughably said, that they had just changed supplier!!! I found that hilarious 😂 Upon checking out, the receptionist told us we had been refunded the breakfast, which was good, but she gave us such a snotty look. Never asked us if we'd enjoyed our stay or if we wanted to leave our bags ( which we did want to) like she did to the elderly couple who were behind us!! Not sure if I'd return, I've had far better breakfasts at Premier Inns and Wetherspoon and the staff in these establishments have been far friendlier!!!

As you come to expect from a Novotel Hotel it was reasonably priced, tidy and in a very handy location. Service was friendly and the breakfast was great too. Room was comfortable. Short stroll to the shopping area - Liverpool 1 Parking building is just around the corner.

Stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend and will definitely be staying here again if in Liverpool. The hotel is in an excellent location with a carpark 1 minute away. The room was comfortable and clean with a choice of pillows and breakfast was lovely with lots of choice .The hotel has a nice pool which we used and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
