I knew when booking that the facility was much Older. The rooms were clean and stocked well. Staff and service were very friendly and accommodating! The water did take a bit to heat up and the rooms at one point were hot but we opened a window/turned on the ac (not a big deal) all in all great stay! Not bad for a 183 year old building 😊

This place has so much potential! But, there was hair on our sheets, the heat is controlled by the front desk, and a space heater, but we also had a window air conditioner still in place, and the room was cold. I asked at the front desk what could be done, and was told sorry ma’sm”. “Other people were hot” No extra space heater supplied despite asking. Breakfast is only highly processed “cake” snack pack type stuff. Too bad, Littleton is lovely.

I love, love, love this building! This is my second time staying here in the Winter. A big 'ole historic building like this makes me feel safe & secure while I'm sleeping at night. I happily used the electric heater & ceiling fan for the perfect room temperature. The only miss for me is breakfast. I'm not a packaged product sort of girl. Seems like the restaurant downstairs could be utilized instead? Or maybe since there are so many nice breakfast options nearby, just offer coffee & tea and skip the rest? Otherwise, please don't change a thing!

The hotel needs a refresh inside and out! The heating in the room could not be regulated and it was impossible to get even hot & cold water in the shower. The breakfast bar was sub-optimal, although the staff were pleasant. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Everything was charming, the staff were polite and friendly, and we definitely enjoyed our stay. That said, the air conditioner was still in the window, and very cold air streamed in all night, so our room was not warm enough. We piled all of our luggage and coats over the window as best we could, and we were fortunate to have extra blankets in our car, so we slept fine, but the little space heater in our room was not sufficient to keep the room warm. Just saying...

We enjoyed our stay in this charming small town. The hotel is quite old, opened I believe in 1850. It is in desperate need of renovation/modernization. With great hesitation I must state, the bathroom needs an upgrade, the room is very small, the wall paper was peeling, the floors creak when walking, the radiator in our room was very hot with no adjustments. It was uncomfortable to sleep with such heat although we opened the windows. This hotel was opened in 1850 and deserves some love.
