Good hot water, clean microwave and fridge. Bed blankets, pillows were clean

Our view from the balcony was magnificent. We adored the large bathtub and heated bathroom floors. The refrigerator and microwave were super convenient and the private beach was charming to say the least. Our only issue was that we were on the first floor and could hear ever step our upstairs neighbors made. This meant a lack of rest and sleep at times and we woke up when our upstairs neighbor woke up. This is typically something we would overlook in less expensive establishments. However, when you pay Heritage House prices, you expect standards of rest and relaxation to be upheld. Request a second story room or to not have anyone above you and your stay will be perfect!

The view can't be beat. You feel appropriately isolated (though you're not really) yet a close to the very good restaurants in Little River and Mendocino. And close to great hiking. Heritage House clearly has a sense of history and it resonates.

The breakfast rooms were a little cold. They could be a little more comfortable/inviting.

Beautiful grounds and well maintained rooms. The walls were a bit thin and besides the gym, spa and a few daily activities/events offered, there wasn’t much else.

Very unique and charming. Rooms were adorable and the view is breathtaking.

The scenery around the property was pristine and beautiful, with excellent up close views of the ocean. Beach access was very handy. The rooms were well appointed with heated slate bathroom floors and gas fireplaces. Everything was kept very clean. I did notice two almost invisible corner cobwebs in the bathroom. The room clock radio did not work and the shower door needed minor adjustment. However, nothing diminished my enjoyment of the property.

Nice view of the ocean from our room. Good food in the restaurant, comfortable lounge area with fireplace.

We celabrated our 50th wedding anniversary. Loved the privacy , the view from our room, the doe and fawns, the hawk, the seals and the adorable quail. No so much the drone that our upstairs neighbors flew in front of our window( not your fault). Don't know how you stop disrespectful people. Thank you,

The only complaint I have is that the pillows (and possibly comforter) were down and they were unable to find any alternative pillows. I ended up using the couch pillows, which while not super comfortable sufficed for 2 nights. I’m super allergic to down so even having them on the bed for my husband’s use was rough. The food was good although our order was messed up both times. These are my only complaints. The view from our room was stunning. The bathtub was amazing and the view from the tub was breathtaking. The room was very private and we were able to have our two fur babies with us. We will definitely be coming back!

The Requa Inn is off the beaten track, walking distance from the incredible overlook of the Klamath River emptying into the Pacific Ocean. What a charming bed and breakfast experience Jan offers, complete with the most comfortable bed, clawfoot bath tub, and delicious breakfast, complete with homemade bread. We woke to hear a seal barking from the river, just out our window. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back again when our travels take us down that way again. Thank you, Jan!

My partner and I decided to hit up Mendocino for the weekend. Fortunately, we were able to snag the last room available for this wonderful place. We stayed in the main hotel, and our room had panoramic views of the ocean with a balcony. We also had in-room dining the next day which was a pleasant treat.

We stayed a couple of nights. We loved our room over the ocean. Everything about out experience was great.

There are still a few things to work out like the housekeeping didn’t do a great job our first night eg didn’t vacuum the room or change the sheets but overall no really serious issues Food was great and well presented in the spacious dining room Grounds are wonderful and well kept

Heritage House Resort for the Holidays is a very nice place to be. Partial ocean view with ocean sounds was great. People with ATT need to know there is no service, apparently Verizon works; TV service was not good, no local channels for news and world events and staff reported that they had spoken to Dish without resolution -- maybe time to change service provider. Ants decided to visit our getaway and staff did not appear to care, oh well maybe the ants were cold? Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Beautiful property and location on the Pacific. A spa is available. Excellent dinner menu and variety on breakfast menu. Short drive to towns of Mendocino and Ft. Bragg. Decks on some rooms to enjoy ocean view.

The hotel was okay. The bed was really comfortable and I liked the heated floors and shower in the bathroom. But for the price I paid, it wasn't worth it. When we opened the doors and stepped into the room, immediately we had to open the sliding doors because there was a stuffiness inside the room. It was suffocating. Also, I noticed there were cobwebs in one corner of the sliding door and there were a couple of bugs in the room (2 spiders). Also, the TV remote was not connecting properly to the TV, I had to press the button 5-8 times to get the TV to change channels or volume. I thought it was a battery issue and so I changed the batteries (had AAA spares in my bag) but still, it took 5-8 presses just to change the channels and/or volume. I ended up turning it off and picking up my iPad instead. Overall, I would not stay here again for the price I paid.

Went here for my one year anniversary and it was perfect. Views were amazing from our room and room was beautiful! Staff was nice and helpful

Beautiful restored resort. Location can not be beat. Views everywhere. Large comfortable room all in good condition. 37 acres in which to roam. Walk out to the gazebo for beautiful views. Quieter than Mendocino and only a short drive into the town of Mendocino.

The softest pillows and blankets ever, so quiet and serene. The Resort was fully booked yet it felt as if no one else was staying there. The walk along the bluff was magnificent and The restraunt/Lounge staff were so friendly and accommodating. The overnight front desk lady was so sweet!
