Location is outside of Lisbon but trains are frequent and under €3.00 to the City centre. This is a business hotel which I stayed at as I was walking the Camino de Santiago. I was lucky when I was there as it wasn't too busy and the staff were great. My room and bathroom were a good size and I even had a sofa in the room as well as table & chair. Tea & coffee facilities are included but there was no milk as the Portuguese tend to drink black coffee, as another reviewer has said, the hotel needs to consider the needs of other nationalities as we Brits like our afternoon cuppa! However just ask for it as it's no trouble. Almost all the hotels I've stayed in in Portugal have lumpy pillows which I'm not keen on. Bar snacks are available but I wasn't keen on supper which was a buffet. Cold plates means your food is cold and soup was tepid. The meal didn't live up to the quality of the rooms which was disappointing. Breakfast was adequate but again the food was cold due to cold plates. Plastic teaspoons seemed ridiculous and sends out a poor image. I took the 736 bus downtown €1.85, to the retail area followed by a tram to Lg Portas Sol, €2.90, where the Cathedral is situated, which was relatively simple. The hotel is convenient for what I wanted but don't stay there if you want to visit Lisbon as it's about 20km outside of the city.
Outside of Lisbon but with good and fast access to the center. Good breakfast. Clean rooms With a good pool Don't konw exactly about public transportations to Lisbon center but you should checkit first because its a little far...
Not particularly close to anything but nonetheless a good place to crash for a night or two. Our room was quite spacious and the breakfast was to a good standard. Decent pool area and friendly staff. And excellent value.
This hotel is trying to be something that it's not. The staff were ride and unhelpful. They gave my husband and I twin beds, and would not change that. It caters to tour buses and their clientele. I will never stay there again.
Friendly helpful staff. Nice big clean rooms with big bathrooms as well. Bed a bit on the harder side, could be softer. Water is brougt the the rooms each day. Pool is clean and good. Breakfast could be better. Not much to choose between, compared to Scandinavian standards. 20€ by taxi to City center. Train and metro take more time but is a nice experience. The area around Oriente station is good.
I and my wife went on a group tour to SPAIN & PORTUGAL recently (in May 2017) and we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in Lisbon. The rooms are average, and air conditioning alright. Breakfast was served in a separate area for us as we were in a group, and it was not so good, with limited items.
It's in an industrial part of town, so don't think you are staying in Lisbon proper because it's not really close to the tourist part of Lisboa. We are walking the Camino so hiking out of town and this hotel in an industrial part of town was (sort-of) on our way from Lisbon. It is a bland hotel and the turnover is from bus tourist groups and from what we could tell, they get plenty of it. So the staff attention to detail for a couple of hikers was pretty carefree. The room was pretty basic and the bed pretty hard but it was clean enough. I would never come back but it wasn't horrible. We sat in the bar waiting for the restaurant to open at 7:30, when it did there was a stampede of bus tourists and we could not get a seat. There is no alternative restaurant anywhere nearby due to the industrial location of this place - so we asked at reception what they suggested we should do. They just shrugged their shoulders and suggested we get room service. We went back to the bar and the waiter understood the problem, he got a table from outside near the pool, brought it in and set the table and we were served! The meal was pretty good actually, as was breakfast in the morning. Very nice restaurant staff helped. The hotel is mediocre but not bad - the main thing I'd check is the location.
After traveling a lot of times to Lisbon, this time I change the normal hotel because of the proximity to the customer. Is a nice hotel but to simple... the breakfast is normal, the quality of the rooms is average low, there are some bugs is the room that I can't figure what type of bug are... I recommend if you are in a rush, but if you have time try some other hotel
Lovely clean hotel. Friendly staff. Location is ideal for business but not if you are looking for night life in Lisbon Weather did not permit use of outdoor pool but plenty of seating available for dining outside if you wished
It is a 15 minute cab ride to town, so cheaper than being in the centre. Nice modern hotel, small bar and restaurant which was a buffet in the evening I was there and a good buffet breakfast. Sizeable room, all good and clean facilities. Parking available as well.
